Purina Dog Chow Complete Adult Dry Dog Food, High Protein Real Chicken, 4 lb Bag

Feel my Labs with this product and they do well on it. I have gone to other feeds when not available and they didn’t seem to like as much. I don’t give them as much as packaging recommendation just feed them twos day. During bird season I do supplement and give more especially in cold weather.

I have used Purina Adult Dog Chow Complete for years in my breeding program. I put all puppies on Purina Puppy Chow Complete. It’s my opinion the best all around dog food. Never any issues with my dogs or puppies. I recommend this brand to all new owners as well as people who inquire what type of dog and puppy food I use and if any issues. Purina is a time tested product and has been around since forever. It only makes sense to use it.

We have beagles and have fed them purina dog chow there whole life and all our beagles live to an old age our oldest was 18 years old before she passed away

Have had dogs my whole life. Now I'm paying the same price as a 50 lb bag when it is only 44 lbs. !!!

My family has always used purina dog chow for as long as I can remember. When I got my own dog I decided that was what I was going to feed her. She likes it and have had no issues up until this last bag I bought. I have found larvae of some sort in it. I saw it in her bowl and freaked out. Then I seen it in the rest of her dog food. I am udderly disappointed and disgusted. I shouldn't have to worry about what I feed my fur baby. I shouldn't have to worry about larvae being in a bag of dog food. I looked through our other two dogs food (one is the same brand the other is not) all are stored in the same area. So this is something subject to the bag I purchased. When I looked up if anyone else has had this problem they said that they have! What a horrible and shameful thing to do!

I'm very disappointed with finding bugs in the bag of food.. so many small black beetle looking bugs.. and looking at other reviews I see I'm not the old one. Will no longer be buying this crap.

My dog, Baxter, who I've had for over seven years has always ate the puppy chow, and then dog chow. Over the last few months, I've noticed his stool has been loose and almost like diarrhea. I switched him to a different brand and it cleared up after going to the vet when he got real sick. After finishing up the other brand of dog food and switched back to the dog chow his stool became loose and discolored again.. My other dog, gator, has the same issue. In the same timeframe they have been eating more grass, slightly lethargic and scratching more.. When I switched them to the other brand recommended by my vet, they were not eating grass. It seems as if the dog chow has taken a down turn on quality. Unfortunately, I think I will be switching brands.

I have bought two bags of Purina dog chow, complete for adult chicken flavor in the last two bags have had little black pokey. Things in the dog food almost looks like a little wire, but it's more flimsy and you have to actually pull it out with your nail.

Sharp objects throughout the bag of food! Made my dog sick! This food is extremely bad for your dog! In the photo you can see the sharp object sticking out in the lower right! Almost every piece looked the same!

Only good I've fed my Rosie for 8 years. After seeing other reviews confirming a formula change, I'm outraged. My dog is broken out in hives and this was the only food that didn't upset her stomach.
