I have 2 cats of which only 1 is mine. My cat will eat virtually any moist food, so plus for that. The one that I have been taking care of for almost 2 years (yes, that sort of makes it mine), loves it, but on his timeframe and not necessarily when I feed him. Some days he devours it, other days he laps up the broth and eats a little and that's it. Kind of like having toddlers/kids in the house! It looks good and doesn't smell bad at all. I would say if your cat likes eating turkey, this is a great feast for them!
Our cats used to never eat this blend of cat food. I think it was pulled as a substitute for a different flavor we had ordered during curbside. I don't know weather to thank or say why to the puller, but these cats have gone crazy over this and insist on this flavor over most. Friskies must have a lot of cats they use to target certain flavors, shame.(lol) Very tender shreds, doesn't have a strong smell and they enjoying eating it and yes have screamed wanting more. Turkey and gibbets must be something special for them they sure love it. Great price on something to keep the four legged family happy.
Friskies Purina Shreds with gravy for my kitty are a good choice. Other healthier list brands are not what my kitty prefers. Kitty gets a very healthy dry food so this should suffice as my kitty does not eat other canne d foods except for a couple bites of can.
the last 3plus years ive been using my front porch as a safe haven for the stray cats and I go through a lot of food. this is my go to brand because of the value and because its the one that every stray has liked to eat.
My cats love this shreds turkey cat food. They ask ' doesnt have what they should substitute but you cannot typer not substitute anything with fish. They wont eat it.
I have two rescue cats, and they both enjoy this food. I was saddened to see the price increase on such small cans. The value is going away. I was hoping to rescue a dog again but now I'll have to wait since the cat food %26 other items like litter, flea meds %26 treats have gone up.
Soft, canned, wet food is a big hit with my older cats! They seem to prefer it over the hard, crunchy food. I like the price! I also like the reaction of the cats when I open the can! Such a great product. The cats love this food!
I did not like the way Walmart delivered the items to me. It was like they had a big box they were sending to me and they threw individual cans into the box. What I ordered were cases. They should have been wrapped in cases. That is how both my orders came to me that I ordered from Walmart. THAT IS WAY, I WILL NOT EVERY ORDER ANYMORE CANNED CAT FOOD FROM WALMART.
Cats were not crazy about it. Thought they would love it, but no go. One took a few licks and the other one sniffed it then just walked away. Either it's really bad or my cats aren't hungry enough ... However, the perpetually hungry outside cat ate some but didn't gobble it down either. So...?
originally when ordering I chose a different flavor but was substituted turkey for chicken which was fine. the one big difference was the chicken was pate for an older feline and the turkey was chunky. Unfortunately Mystika who I got it for as a treat when we were to get back from being out of town never got to eat it. she died the pet sitter found her dead at 2pm but alive and eating at 8am.
