My aging dachshund is getting very picky and this is the only dog food he really likes. He has tried others and goes off them after a while for whatever reason, but this one he has not done that with. Also, I've noticed that he has maintained a healthy weight while I'm giving him the recommended amount of daily feeding. Staying right at the same weight for several months now that he is adjusted to the food and eating it regularly.

I've been a Staffie..Pittie...mommy for many years. Their owners painfully know that our babies are prone to skin and digestive issues. Mine have been beef sensitive. So when my vet recommended trying Purina One, I educated myself on it's pro's and con's chose this one and won't change. No digestive problems. Skin and coat are stable...if you know what I mean. They eat it dry or with toppings. I also cook them rice, boiled chicken with carrots and the occasional canned pumpkin treat. (NOT pumpkin pie filling).

This has been a great dog food for my adult dog. I appreciate that real chicken is the first ingredient and that it's a high-protein formula. My dog eagerly eats every meal, has great energy, and seems to be doing really well on it. The 8 lb bag is a convenient size and offers great quality for the price.

We were feeding our 4 dogs Purina Pro Plan Sport for about 4-5 years, but I noticed my dogs gaining weight with it. So we switched to this one, less protein and fat as they are getting older and not “go go go” puppies anymore. Also a cheaper alternative as the cost of literally everything has increased!! They have stayed a healthy weight since! Their coat is still shiny like from pro plan, no artificial colors or dyes. Gentle on my dogs stomachs. Haven't noticed any issues and we have been using it for a few months now. I have a Great Dane, two dachshunds, and a golden doodle. I follow portion sizes and they seem to have adjusted well to it. Can't complain!

my dogs love it! I watched several youtube videos on dog foods and nutrition. I always fed Diamond brand and discovered its missing a few nutrients they need and during the video a dog feed nutrition expert brought up the fact that Purina is the only company who has actual paid doog food nutritionists employed daily in their facilities testing and improving their dog food. Other companies just hire consulants occasionally. Might look for videos and inform selves about pet food.

Buying and feeding this dry food to my dogs for 30 years and don’t recall ever buying a bad bag. I had used for two or three days before noticing. My dog suddenly took ill, but I don’t know and I don’t believe it had anything to do with the dog food. When I went to scoop the food back into the original bag (I put some in a pet food dispenser) is when I noticed all of the webbing that actually appears to have been baked into the product. Have not contacted the manufacturer yet to let them know.

This is the second time I have old lettuce sent to me. Why is this. I'm disabled and I have someone pick it up. It's not their job to go through the groceries to see how they are, but it is my job to inspect it when I want to use it and the lettuce is old. Usually sausage is out, but this is old and I'm talking about the experience.
