Purina One +Plus Dry Dog Food for Large Adult Dogs High Protein, Real Chicken, 16.5 lb Bag

I wanted something healthier for my pets. Right away I noticed how much more food there was for the weight. Cheap food is much more dense and heavy. So I find myself going through dogfood much slower now. So glad I made the move to healthier, yes more expensive but lasts much longer. My overweight dog is starting to slowly lose some pounds too!! And the best. They love it!!

We have a Great Dane/Lab rescue. She was having trouble with her legs and limping. The vet said she "grew" too fast and recommended we feed her large breed adult dog food. We chose this brand because it was more affordable for us living on a fixed income. We also have a Cocker spaniel and both of them really like the dog food. Particularly the chunks of dried chicken!

Absolutely love this dog food! I started my pup on the Purina One Smart Blend Large Breed puppy food and 2 1/2 yrs. later she still loves this brand. She is at a healthy weight with a bright and shiny eyes and coat. Always recommend this every chance I get.

I’m so happy I found this food for my adult large breed! My big guy has never looked better — his coat shines, he’s full of energy, and he’s moving around like a puppy again. It makes me feel good knowing he’s getting the right nutrition. Purina ONE Plus truly keeps my best friend healthy and happy!

Dog loves it and has no digestive problems with this brand like he did with Beneful Healthy Weight, which is terrible for dogs.

We order this food online as it is not available in our local Walmart. In the past two bags we have ordered from Walmart.com there have been small, black bugs in the dog food. With the first bag, we weren't sure if the bugs came in the food, so we ordered a new bag and put it in a brand new food tub. Sure enough, the new bag contained bugs, as well. We took a scoop of the food containing the bugs (in a Ziploc baggie) into our local Walmart to show them. We obtained a refund for our order, and the manager said she would contact the warehouse and make them aware of the bug problem. Please look at your food. The bugs go to the bottom of the food/ bowl/ container.

This dog food is half crumbs! I guess they dumped crumbs to get the weight right. I don’t know what the crumbs are made of but my dogs are having loose stools. I’ve used this brand for a few years. Guess it’s time to change up or start cooking them real food smh.

This bag has so many crumbs in it. I think the chewy kibble broke down. I have never had a bag like this before. The chewy kibbles are their favorite usually. They really don’t want to eat this. Makes me wonder if something is wrong with it.

My dogs (two black labs mother and daughter) have been on this dog food for several years and we have been happy with it. However, the most recent bag caused a terrible allergic reaction. The dogs initially refuse to eat, after a couple of days, they didn’t eat the food and then vomiting shortly after eating. They both had a skin reaction that resulted in hot spots. It appears that our dog had an allergic reaction that resulted in hot spots and a two hundred dollar vet bill. I reached out to Purina and did get an immediate response, they apologized and confirmed that some of the ingredients have been changed, as well as the order of the ingredients. They would not refund the cost of the bag, even though I sent them the barcode and photos. We are definitely switching to a new brand of dog food.
