Purina Pro Plan Complete Essentials Dry Cat Food Salmon Egg, 6 lb Bag

My six cats went nuts for this stuff but after I spoke to my vet, he stated that he didn't think that grain free was the best food to feed. And I didn't like it could only be purchased in a 6 lb bag. I still am going to buy this once in a while as a treat for the cats.

My 14 yr old cat liked this food. he wasnt crazy about...it but he ate it. I like that the food pebbles were small and not too big for his teeth. My cat loves this food. He's pretty picky. He prefers wet food with gravy and isn't too keen on the dry stuff. This food however, he absolutely loves. I first brought him a few as a treat to see how he'd react. I was several feet away when he woke out of his sleep and started sniffing the air. When I gave him the kibble he absolutely devoured it! It smells like seafood, and I really like that it includes salmon as the first ingredient. This food perks him up, which I'm really looking for because he's an older (19 year old) cat. He still eats his regular dry food (reluctantly) because it's given by the vet for a health issue. I've been giving him this food as treats outside his bowl and I really like the changes I've seen over the week or so I've had it. I'm not sure it's entirely the food, but yesterday he got up in his rall cat tree like he used to. It's been more than a year! His coat has been very soft too. All in all I'd definitely recommend this cat food. I was really pleasantly surprised by it, and I'll gladly buy him more when this bag is done. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have two cats, one of which is a really picky eater. He can be difficult to find a good that he likes enough to eat what he should. Surprisingly, he loves this food. however, my cat who eats almost anything, didn't care for this food. He constantly wanted his old food instead. I have 2 elderly kitties. They are pretty picky about dry food but the liked this. They normally eat Nutrish salmon and rice so I guess it tasted enough like what they like that they ate it happily.
