Purina Pro Plan High Protein Puppy Food Shredded Blend Chicken & Rice Formula, 6 lb. Bag

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I find that with this blend, my puppy is alert, focused and is "growing like there is no tomorrow!" I like the shredded blend because one can see that there is real chicken in it and my pup cannot wait until mealtime. This blend is not hard to digest nor does it create a smell on his breath. I love the fact that my pup can barely wait until I put his dish down.

My 6 month old doodle is eating a mixture of this and the pro plan lamb for puppies. His delicate Doodle tummy handles it really well and he seems to like the flavor. Dog food is just expensive in general if you want quality but this one is pretty affordable compared to other brands of the same quality.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We use this food for meals, but she likes it enough that we can use pieces of kibble for training also. Her coat is soft and shiny. She is healthy and growing like a weed. I will definitely be sticking with Purina Pro Plan when she grows out of the puppy food.

I saw this kibble was rated as very good for puppies. I started with a smaller bag for a test. My Labradoodle gets three small meals a day %26 she loves this. It's for puppies under a year. Since it's a lot, I store it in a garbage can and transfer to a smaller container in the kitchen to keep it fresh

Welped a litter of pups and when transitioning to kibble I soak it and add some purine pro plan puppy canned food and make a mash. My litters have always done so well on it and the transition to dry kibble goes really smooth. Stools are nice and formed and that makes cleaning up after a litter nice!

The two puppiees eat it but it's still dry dog food, o er processed and all kinds of things in it but I guess you can't avoid it without paying hundreds if dollars a month for Dr. Marty's freeze dried dog food . I think I'm going to buy a freeze dryer and make my own. But this is good compared to a lot of dried do food on the market .

Our dogs love this food but the quality is a issue. we would find bugs or shells of bugs and sticky web like stuff in the food. so quality control isnt good. if it wasnt for that we would still buy it.

Never received order It's 4 days late and yet they keep sending me Messages claiming it's running late and will be in tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes figuratively and literally!!!!! There has been no update or movement as far as tracking since Sunday

This bag of dog food was ridden with worms. The health and safety of our dog is now in play. We have reported this to the FDA and made a call to a real person at Wal-Mart where I had to insist a ticket/indident be open to address this. This is clearly coming from terrible storage areas for Wal-Mart and NOT the manufacturer. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER!!!!

This bag had a web like substance in the bag and had bugs crawling in the food. Possibly expired bag. Very surprised we would receive this. Normally this is a very good nutritional food for puppies and will be ordering a replacement but very disappointed in this order plus we now have to wait until Nov 10 for the replacement bag.
