Purina Strategy Healthy Edge, Horse Feed, 50 lb Bag

I started my new horse on this a few months ago I knew he needed to gain weight when he was purchased and I was having a tough time getting him to gain but after starting this feed I could really see a difference! I will post before and after photos.

Then I was looking into Purina and figured I would give it a try, after a few weeks, I seen a huge improvement and she started looking amazing. She was 24 years old. I was so thankful to find a feed that worked for her and gave her the weight she needed!!

I like that it has so many benefits to feeding it to keep my horses healthy. I love purina products. I feed all my animals purina, even my dogs and cat ! I trust this brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Argento had a coarse dry coat when we got him and after a few months, his coat began to feel smoother and became more rain resistant and kept him warmer. Throughout the summers, his coat has been slick and smooth, and his winter coat, after that first year has kept him warm and dry, needing a blanket only in extreme weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 21 year old horse has been fed Purina Strategy Healthy Edge for several years. She is a picky eater but loves these pellets. When she sees me coming to the barn to feed her, she spins and runs to her stall. Her ears are up while I go inside to get her pellets. Once I put her pellets into her feeder, she immediately starts chewing them. She doesn't stop munching the pellets until every one of them is gone. I follow the feeding directions on the bag. My horse looks happy and healthy. pellet

I eventually came back because nothing compares to the quality of purina feeds. I will stick with purina from now on. This feed works great for my entire herd from 3 year olds to 26 year olds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 9 barrel horses on Strategy Healthy Edge and they all look fantastic! Most get 4 lbs a day and a few get 8 lbs but they are all shiny and healthy looking! People ask me all of the time what I feed them!

I just bought my first bag on 7/20/26 because I wanted a good higher fat feed for my 22 year old horse. When I opened the bag the smell was overwhelming . Hard to describe what it smells like but it wasn't good. I also found a huge chunk of something in the bag. Photo attached. I will be returning this bag to where I bought it and continue to shop for a better feed. Very disappointed.
