Purina Waggin' Train Free Balance 12:12 Supplement 25lb

I've been using Purina 12:12 Free Balance for about 16 years here in NW AZ at our boarding and training facility. I feed our concentates wet, and this is an ideal balancer. Everybody gets the recommended amount in their "soup bucket" every night. It doesn't ad extra calories, there are no unnecessary fillers, and all 20 horses eat it without fail! It's also a very economical way to assure good nutrition for our boys and girls!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the number one loose mineral that I give to horses who are chewing board (wood)fences and trees. I line the bottom of a regular bucket, keep it fresh and dry. They take as much as they need. If they finish what is given I add more. They back off when the nutritional requirement is met. This works on every horse that is already getting a quality diet yet starts chewing wood.

I use this product for my horses and recommend it to all my clients horses. It is reasonably priced and I know they have the balanced diet they need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great addition for just alfalfa in SW extremely hot summers when adding grain is hard for them in the heat but keep them balanced in those trace minerals and vitamins that maybe missed in one batch of hay to next

We have been getting the bag of powder for our rescue horses for a while, and let me tell you, their coats, hooves and poop are amazing! Only downside is it's hard to find this in our town and we haven't been able to get anymore in our little store for a while which is such a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really good general essential supplement. However, some of my horses didn't care for the taste and easily sift it out of their pellets. If you have a picky horse, this may not be for them.
