I learned that most stevia contains Multodextrine which raises blood glucose levels. Look for 100% Stevia and read the ingredients if you're watching your blood glucose levels. This may be a bit more pricy than non pure stevia but you don't need to use as much. I will keep buying this brand.
this is some very nasty tasting stuff. i made a gallon of tea with a tablespoon of this stuff and had to dump it down the drain. made again but with 1/2 a teaspoon of this stuff and had to dump tea down the drain..... will NOT buy this again
it took me long tome to learn how to use this sweetner. if your making hor drinks, like tea, coffee add to hot water them make drink. small amounts till you find the correct one. Now i wouldn't use anything else. little goes long way.
I like this Stevia because it is pure without any additives and it is very difficult to find Stevia like this. I gave it four out of five stars. The only reason I did not give it five stars is simply because it is extremely potent to the point where if you accidentally get just a little bit on your hand or mouth in it's undiluted form, it leaves a very strong aftertaste in your mouth. Aside from that it is the purist Stevia I have purchased so far. I like the fact that I only need to put a very small amount in my pot of green tea to sweeten it and that it is 100 percent Stevia with nothing added.
I ordered this pure Stevia as a alternative to Monk Fruit. I alternate between them to break up my morning coffee routine- just like the change. Ive found the Stevia to be much sweeter than the Monk Fruit, and it takes less Stevia to sweeten my drinks. I like it %26 try to keep an extra bag on hand so iI dont run out.
Bought it because it was organic and had no erythritol - but it has an awful aftertaste - I made my favorite pudding with it and even tho I made myself eat 2 servings of it- I ended up throwing the rest of the pudding away.
This stevia powder is very sweet and it doesn't take much to sweeten your food or drinks. The powder is very fine. May be helpful for the powder to be less fine. I enjoy it in my green tea.
I have several plant based sweeteners, which I mix, to get the perfect sweetness level for my coffee. The Organic Stevia Extract is a powder and EXTREMELY sweet. Unfortunately, it has a bit of an aftertaste--like licking steel. Thus, I use only a tiny amount in my coffee and cut the aftertaste with the Monkfruit sweetener, which looks more like granulated sugar, but is not as sweet as sugar cane. Both together get me the perfect sweetness for a perfect cup of coffee
Tastes great in iced tea. Very much like regular sugar. It's strong, be careful not to over sweeten
Package was smaller than expected, but it is pure stevia without any additives, so a little goes a long way.
