Good value and quality
Purolator is a good brand for a good price. Looks identical to the OEM Subaru air filter that it replaced. Just wish car manufacturers didn't make these so difficult to replace.

Subaru air filter
Gave it a four on the ease of install, which is not puraltor's fault, it's Subaru's. Filter fits good and does a good job of sealing.

Great value for the money
Easy installation, looks and feels premium quality, fit and finish looks exactly like OEM. If you find it on special, it's a steal. I've used Purolator filters before and never have had any issues, save yourself and your wallet some money and go ahead and give it a try, ot will work as OEM intended the part to.

Seems identical to Subaru OEM air filter.
This was a bit fiddly when getting the air filter housing to properly close, but the Subaru branded filter element is equally balky. Prolly there's a trick which a real Subaru mechanic would have mastered.

High quality filter
Installed easily into my Subaru. Noticeable improvement in MPG after replacing dirty old filter. Would buy again.

good substitute for discontinued fram air filter
the purolator filter is an excellent substitute for fram (which went out of business). it fit my subaru forester without difficulty.
