Like the lid. Thin material not as comfortable to drink out of, but basically does what I wanted. Was looking for a mug with handle that I could take with me outside or in car and stay warm longer than an open mug. rough ckay not as good as smooth ceramic glaze, but thats liveable. Would prefer a thicker clay glazed, but it beats travel mugs and thermoses. lid stays put pretty well. You can't drop it or tip it over, but same is true with your favorite mug. Not a lot of choices for ceramic mugs with handle AND lid. This works ok as my comfy mug.
