Assembled today. Recommend having a second person to help mounting umbrella to base. Love the multiple positions this umbrella will do. Looking forward to shading some of my pool. I would highly recommend getting the base with wheels so it will be easy to move to get optimal use. It was boxed very well and arrived in perfect condition. The wheeled base had large holes on top to make filling the base very easy.

The Purple Leaf 10x10 Patio Umbrella met my expectations and exceeded my expectations in ease of assembly. I would recommend two people, but I was able to do it alone. I bought it with base and used water only in the base. It all looks and feels stout and durable.

I needed a sturdy and large shade umbrella for my very hot west-facing garage area, where I spend a lot of time doing projects and gardening. My neighbor had recently bought a Purple Leaf umbrella for her pool area and I was impressed with it, so I got one. Very easy to install, one person can do it but you may need help attaching the umbrella to the base. Opens and tilts like a dream. It's been a game changer for me and my cats, who love the extra shade. I'm now able to spend many more hours outdoors than I'd been previously able to. The dark gray color is very elegant and blocks the light well. I bought a water-weighted base and the whole thing is very stable, even when winds pick up. Only wish I'd bought this years ago!

It’s huge and great quality. Base not included so the hardest part was deciding what base to get. Overall we love it’!

I have this on the shallow end of our pool for morning and afternoon shade. I helps keep my grandchildren from getting sunburt. Thay age from 3months to 5 years old. It really helps to be able to tilt it as necessary.

The product is of high quality and works perfectly. The instructions need to be improved with written instructions to better guide you through the assembly process, as well as the illustrations to take you step by step. I was able to assemble by myself all but mounting it on the stand, due to the weight, but believe I could have saved time with better instructions.

Frame bent part of umbrella with the first wind . As it's not as strong as advertised. Once again mislead on quality .
