The aerator worked exactly as it was supposed to. We did add a concrete block to it for extra weighted pressure since our area was a new home with negligible growth…very tough surface, but our seed has sprouted very nicely due to the aerator doing its job! I am a 5' 2” , 70 year old woman and I was able to use the aerator with no issues.

It's not effective without watering the lawn
It started out to do a great job .... The axle that holds the star shaped spikes was not welded correctly! Quality is not there. Tried to contact seller to no avail.
It wasn't too bad outting together but pushing this thing reminded me of the football sled from high school. It broke on the 3rd pass across my lawn.
too hard to push with weight on it. maybe needs larger wheels.
It broke on the first use
it arrived broken. Missing a end piece for the shaft.
It was hard to get the spikes to go into the soil even after watering down the soil. I tried several times without any luck.
