The Putco Stainless steel Tailgate Cap is a beautiful addition to my Ford Ranger's tailgate. The entire bed, inside and the top rails were fairly well scratched up when I bought the truck, so I have been making a project of getting the bed back to a presentable condition and the stainless steel side rails and tailgate cap have covered up all the scars of a hard working pickup. Anyway, I had never worked with "self tapping screws" from an installation aspect and so I was sorry that the tailgate cap was not a 3-M stick on application...And God forbid I would have to drill into my truck... but I had to have this tailgate cap and even with a putz like myself, the install was an absolute breeze.

Arrived in 4 days not the 7 days. Came with the screws and went on very easy and quickly. The polished stainless finish looked good and really dressed up the look of the truck.

Price was reasonable, shipping was fast, part was high quality and fit perfect. Overall a very smooth process. will buy again when in need of hard to find parts. Thank you

Already has the holes on the inside panel so you can screw or rivet in place. Also has stickly tape on the inside to hold it to the tail gate. Quality fit and finish. I will definately buy again for our next truck.

Looks great. Very shiny and bright. Screws were hard to get in. Fits a little loose on tailgate back. 1/8th in between outside bottom edge and tailgate.

Quality is very good but fit was not perfect. Angle of back bend was not flat to may gate, about 2* open, so one need to be a bit careful not to get a cut.

Item showed up damaged unfortunately. But it's a nice item besides the crinkled corners. By time the real truck team got back to be it was because I was persistent on the damage, I just decided to install it because they took forever to acknowledge anything. Thanks but ehh that's why their review is what it is.

I ordered 5/28/25. I was told it would be at my house in a week. It's 6/25/25. Not to mention, In the email I was sent. It seems to be the wrong things I told the guy on the phone.
