PUTT-A-BOUT Par Three 3 Ft. x 9 Ft. Grassroots Golf Putting Green

I am very happy with this item. Purchased and used it for a game at a children's party, but we have kept it out for family use since then. The size fits nicely inside our garage. The quality seems very good. It does not shed fake grass everywhere like the strips of artificial turf I tried before it. It lays flat with a slight incline at the end, which gives it a hint of realism but really is not enough to cause any extra challenges. Best of all, it can be rolled up fairly compactly when not in use. I have seen the same putting green for sale at a higher price that comes with flags and water / sand color inserts for the traps. This model was just fine. I added water and sand themed scrapbook paper underneath the mat where the traps are to achieve the same basic results for an extra cost of only about 50 cents.

High quality perfect for practicing putting

It's great! Used for our local fundraiser, it fit the bill. My only suggestion is the center hole is perfect, but the right and left holes are too flat - ball can easily roll out and not stay in. Consequently, it's hard to hole the ball as it just rolls out, which, like I said, was good for a fund raiser - people would buy more chances to hole the ball, but then they also were a little dejected and thought is was not possible so they quit. I'm going to try to prop the end up a little more in order to make the holes more like cups so the ball stays and see how that works - the people have to feel that it is do-able. Other than that, arrived in great condition, is sturdy and a nice bright green.

Good value for the money, but it does have drawbacks. The artificial turf is nice, but has started separating from the foam pad after a little over a week. The foam pad underneath is actually 2 pieces which started separating right out of the box. The holes and backstops don't always contain the balls, especially if the mat is placed on a hard surface. The green gets pretty hot if used outdoors. I think I would have preferred a rectangular mat versus the contoured one. Still, it appears to be better than competing products at twice the price.
