Yes it's just felt and an inflatable tube but it does what it says it will. Been too afraid to get into puzzles with kids around to possible destroy my progress. This has helped me reduce screen time and pick up a new hobby. Have only used 500 piece puzzles and it took a few tries to get the technique where I'm able to roll up without a few casualties.

This item was purchased for a senior and works well.

could not get the folds out to lay flat

Too stiff to keep assembled puzzle pieces in place when rolled up. I cut it in half making a sandwich which works better.

I had one in the past that allowed the puzzle and the pieces to all be on the felt and rolled up. This one is too small for that and barely allows for the complete puzzle if it is a 1000 piece puzzle. Someone doing a 500 piece puzzle may be ok, but I would not get it for the larger puzzles.

Very stiff, does not lay flat. Not very good quality.

Just a big rectangle of felt. The fold-creases wouldn't flatten out, and was impossible to actually roll up the puzzle. I gave up and restarted the puzzle on my SMOOTH table, which worked much better!
