good sound
Excellent sound for an old Muscle car
Excellent sound reproduction, used as center speaker in my car. Very crips sound! I love this tiny but awesome speaker.
They both work as intended. Nothing special but no complaints. My car has two 3. 5 inch speakers in the rear and I wanted higher frequency out of them so I got the cheapest 2way speaker I could find. Not sure how people have broken the tabs off they are sturdy metal.
The name brand may be Pyle, but it's higher end sound. Very clear midrange/treble, easy to install and aesthetic. Fit directly in a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500, night and day difference; audio went from drab to enjoyable. Purchased for under $20 on a promo but would pay $40. No regrets. Note: did not fit Subaru Impreza (tried after hearing in Ram), mounting holes align but magnet too big.
Was looking to upgrade my stock speakers with something that would work with the stock head unit but also didn't want to spend a ton of money. Really good sound quality for the price. Now 3. 5"" speakers don't add a whole lot of sound, particularly since mine are mounted in the rear pillars of my FJ Cruiser, but these fill up the rear best one could hope for and actually pair nicely with the sub in the rear.
They were somewhat easy to install in my Mazda 3 hatchback. Unfortunately the magnet on the base of the speaker were much larger than stock, and I could not find a wiring harness adapter to plug and play. I read many horror stories about wiring and cutting of pieces inside the whole. I found an installer that created an adapter using the clip from the stock speaker and attached the supplied wires and ends to create a semi stock connection. I was then able to replace with the new speakers with force by moving the wires in the whole and screwed them in with the pressure moving parts that were in the way. Sound is good, I'm just glad that they elliminated the buzzing from old stock speakers and no new buzzing/distortion from my installation process.
Where on this site it shows product imager the speakers are round circle speakers. What we got were oval shaped speakers. It does say 5 year warranty so we will update if we have to use the warranty. They are nice speakers look like high quality. We haven't tried them yet I will update later. So far look like nice speakers just wish they would have been round like they show in the product imagery on this site.
These speakers were returned and I was refunded. One of the leads wasn't working but more importantly these speakers can not produce bass. Their resonance frequency is a round 230Hz which means you would be lucky to get bass down to 130Hz with port tuning. Further more I tested using a 3 watt amplifier and the couldn't handle low frequencies at 3 watts. The photo shows all the TS parameters should you wish to build a cabin for them.
I received an open box with no packaging, bent tabs on both speakers and wires all loose in the box. Obviously an used and damaged item sold as new. It was immediately returned back.
