Pyle PLBW124 12-Inch 1,200-Watt DVC Subwoofer

I have them hooked up to an apline mr-500 amp.they are in a ported r/t box.in the back of a ram guad cab pick up. The sound is great clear & deep.for $45 dollar subs can't ask for much more.they sound better than I thought they would.have them hooked up two weeks now no problems so far.I did buy the exteded warranty for 5 bucks, free replacment for 2 years can't go wrong there.

I've read mixed reviews on this sub and was skeptical to buy at first. I'm beyond happy with this purchase. I've done car stereo competitions for years, and this sub sounds as good as my Memphis, Sundown audio, and other big names. The hint with this sub is running a lower wattage amp. It's a dual voice coil for one, and wattage isn't everything. This sub pounds with a 600 watt class D amp. So it holds more air within the enclosure to help with the bass, I use and enclosed box.

My plbw124 12in dual voice coil subwoofer is the best thing since sliced bread. They hit so hard they blew the back window on my explorer open when I had them facing the back. I am very impressed and I am thinking of getting 2 more

What a great buy. For someone wanting a nice bass system to add to their current radio, cheap upgrade with huge sound (of course, enclosure must be correct) this subwoofer rocks tx Walmart.

These things amazed me so far they have a hard solid thump I bought these to replace cerwin vegas and there better and cheaper too I would definitely recommend this to someone wanting a cheap and good quality subwoofer

I had some kickers and they blew so I brought these to replace them and they are some real live hard hitters.I must say these subwoofers hit just as hard as any Big name brand out there!!!!

After installing many brands over several decades, I have to say give this one a pass. The product arrived in excellent time and customer service was excellent as well, but the item had several flaws. Checking out the product, polarity of the connections is not clearly marked. These connections are also somewhat weak for the allen screw connection method and easily would be broken. On further examination, the magnet motor assembly was installed at an angle (crooked) as well as the magnet itself being fastened off center hanging out substantially on one side. The back plate was fastened off center as well. On bringing this to Pyle's attention it was requested to be sent back with a check for return shipping of 20$ bringing shipping costs for warranty to well over 50% of the product price new, and, a 2-3 week wait could be expected per Pyle representative feedback. The look of the product is excellent, but the purpose of a woofer is to make sound, so, with the weak QC, weak product support, and issues with motor assembly, I would recommend spending a little more and upgrading to a different product line.
