Easy to install, works great p On my 2007 toyota tacoma

Easy install. Took a couple of hours to put it on my 2005 GMC Sierra. Went with the wireless option rather than hard wiring the camera to the monitor. Working great so far. Picture is fine.

This was for my wife's new Volvo S60. To have one installed by the dealer would have been about $1400. Though that would have been much better looking and have more features, for something that is used for a few seconds at a time, she agreed to try this. The product itself works fine, but installation was more of a challenge. Specifically, popping off panels and finding access for power for the display (there wasn't a good grounding point near the fuse box). I ended up using the included 12Volt plug. So far, she is happy with it. I had to email the company for clarification on the camera angle adjustment. The little screws next to the camera were so small, I was not sure if they were 'set screws' or not. A bit of clarification on that in the instructions would have been nice.

Very nice. Not quite as easy to install as advertised, but still OK. The description in ad not completely accurate. But still like very much and adds to the cars safety.

I installed this unit in a 2003 BMW 325I to update it for safer parking. This unit was easy to install. You will need to remove the rear of the trunk lid card. After locating the hot wire and ground wire for the reverse light and splicing them into the sender wire the hard part was done. The camera attaches to the number plate. You will need to drill a hole through the trunk lid to feed the wires into the trunk lid. I used an old gromit from an electrical iron wire to create a tight water proof fit on the thru hole. For good measure pack a little silicone around the hole Place the receiver and screen on the dashboard and plug into the cigarette lighter. After tidying up the wiring the job is done. The camera and screen work well when you put your car into reverse. The picture is not as good as the one in our other car which is new but it does the job and for the $43.00 this may save you a nasty accident when reversing out of a parking...I would recommend this unit. Allow two hours or so for the installation

Easy install good value

I bought this for my parents older minivans. After several hours of identifying how to install it the end result was good. Things to think about when purchasing are where your fuse box is in the car, the length of your car due to wire length..you may need extra, and having the ability to take rearview light cover off, and crawling under the dash by the foot pedals. I suggest a young person with some skill to help with installation. For people without a backup camera this is a nice option once it is installed.

I bought this camera BECAUSE it says it is WIRELESS! NOT SO! You have to connect it to the brake light in the rear of your vehicle. THEN, you have to run a cable THROUGH your vehicle to the dash. THEN you have to attach wires in the fuse box that controls the ignition. THAT IS NOT WIRELESS! That's PLENTY of wires!
