PYLE PLG54 - PLG54 5-Inch 200 Watt Mid Bass Woofer

I had both bass woofer go out in my infinity base speakers for my surround sound system. Infinity wanted 4 times the price (each) and the specifications for these speakers were better than the infinity speakers... Well I took out the old, put in the new, and behold: The sound was AMAZING!!!!!!! Really, really, really nice speakers. As other reviewers mentioned, these are mid bass woofers so don't expect other sounds... But for mid base speakers, I don't think I have heard better. And the price is great. The quality perfect!!!! Feel free to give these speakers a try!!!!!

I purchased this subwoofer as a replacement for the OEM subwoofer in my 2000 Z3 Roadster. It was a perfect fit. Dropped right in and it sounds great.

Nice utility replacement speaker. They seem to hold up well in hot and cold weather. I purchased 4 and they have a nice sound.

there good really improve the bass quality on my car but not to good if u are planning for loud bass. there perfect for just hooking up to a stereo not an amp

Just as expected. Good sound quality with low price.

These are midrange to low frequency speakers that reproduce the middle to lower end of the music sound spectrum, and should have a subwoofer amp that cuts off frequencies above 125 to 300 hz. There is literally no highs produced by this speaker, by design, so do not think you are getting a full-range speaker. Metal surround is fairly thin metal, so two of these speakers came bent severely when I ordered two at a time. They beat each other up inside the outside box which was not stuffed tight and UPS/USPS obviously slinged the box around pretty good in transit. If you order two at a time, be ready to take one or both of them back due to damage. Terminals are marked - & + on the material between the two metal terminal tabs, you will need a magnifier to see them. With magnet down, right is positive and left is negative. Good cone, rubber surround, and very strong 30 oz. magnet. Sound just fine for what they are.

It has the capabilities of what it should being the product it is. It should not be used individually (i.e. without a subwoofer or tweeter setup) but is a good value.

Good price and good quality

Two of the four speakers I ordered were bent, with no indication that this happened in shipping. Sound is OK, but not outstanding. I bought them because they're a direct replacement for the speakers in Advent Powered Partners enclosures. For that application, I would recommend them.

they work and sound ok, just only getting MID-range sounds like voice and the music is well muffled.
