This was just what I wanted for my 4 year old great-grandson. He will never be bored or lonely again. I pray that God will ever keep a song in his heart, as he goes through life. Always whistling or singing every day. Sometimes mot heard by others, but always heard by me and God. This is a lifetime hift to a child that you love. Puts joy in their heart. God bless all little children.
I am Happy with this guitar. better quality than I expected.
It's a Christmas present I can't tell you nothing about it right now cuz I didn't open it cuz it's a presence I'll let you know later
I bought for my son it's really good but it is so small for my 8 year boy trying to return and get big one but COVID-19 we can't return Who ever buying it's really good and worthy
Was very happy with the guitar and the accessory kit. However, I do wish that the description had clearly indicated that the carrying case was a very thin, soft polyester like material. That actually offers NO protection or form, knowing it's for a child. The case is actually too big or loose as well. So the guitar slides around inside.
This is a 30" acoustic guitar, that means it has brass and steel strings. This is not a nylon/classical guitar. For the teenagers looking at this, you need a 36" or 38". This guitar is for people under 5 feet tall. To me, this was worth it. It comes with the guitar, and the special strap used for acoustic guitars. Acoustics don't have strap pegs, you have to tie one end around the headstock, just about the nut. The rest of that stuff will never be used. Especially the pitch pipe. Hide it, unless your okay with nonstop whistling. Mom, Dad, before you give it to kid rock, you have to tune the guitar. Normally classes use EADGBE. Don't know what that is? Go get an electronic tuner that has a microphone. They're anywhere from 15-20 bucks, like a KORG GA2. Play the string, and it'll tell you tune up or down. The picks are GIGANTIC, if you've ever seen a bass pick, they're even bigger. They're like the size of a 50 cent piece. They're not usable. You'll want to get some guitar picks. Medium gauge is typical, they're sold everywhere. Don't bother getting pictures on them, or "brand" name ones. They're shaped plastic. You'll need a few, not because they break, but because people lose them. My issue is with the 6th stock string, it's ridiculously louder than the rest of the strings. And there's fret buzz, and the action is about an inch off the fretboard. You may consider changing the gauge for that string for a more even tone. It's absolutely still playable, but it sounds like it's being plucked. When you're done with the guitar, don't put it in the bag. Lean it, facing the wall, or get a guitar stand with a contiguous bottom (it's a smaller guitar) if you're worried about it falling. As far as how does this sound compared to a 15,000 dollar one? Well the Martin one, will be very smooth to the ear, and even, almost like a harp. The walmart one, every note will be heard, but the attack is a lot sharper, unmistakingly a guitar. Have fun!
The guitar is small, which is okay with me seeing that I am very tiny. However the bag has a footprint on it like someone stepped on it with a shoe. And the guitar picks aren't in the package. This is all even though the box was sealed like new. I still want the guitar picks. My photo is a picture of the footprint.
It's literally the worst thing since my ex gf told me she loved me then left me a day later
Bought this for my 8 year old to start guitar lessons. Guitar teacher says it won't hold a tune and to look for another one. Complete waste of money.
Bought for a 9 yr old to begin lessons on. Needed to be restrung out of the box. Markings all over the face of the guitar. Does not stay in tune for any length of time. Im going to keep for the sole purpose of covering in rhinestones and photo ops. I recommend buying a used guitar from a proper shop if your looking for something thats not a glorified toy.
