Almost Perfect

Tokuo H. October 20, 2022

There is only one thing I would change. I'd prefer a headphone jack on the front as was the case with my older M-Audio. Other than that I love everything else about my new one. For headphones I bought a short extension cable and use the jack on that instead. It will probably extend the life of the jack on the Pyle I'm mainly using it for a general interface between a W11 PC , speakers, and to do various electronic testing. It sounds quite good. There is no noise. I appreciate the separate volume controls for line outs and headphones. It has some heft to it, not just a cheap plastic box. It seems well made. Best of all it worked the instant it was plugged in. Drivers are available and I had downloaded ahead of time but it was apparently unnecessary in my case. It powers up and works fine using just the USB A / USB B cable but has a separate input for 5V in case the PC is powering a lot of other USB devices . . another feature I was looking for.

Full featured, and up to 192k!

Samuel E. April 21, 2020

Plugged this in, and Windows recognized it without a hitch. Nice and quiet, with multiple options for phantom power + a pad, clipping indicators and a monitor switch. All great. My only complaint is that if you want to put this into a rack, you're going to have to get headphone/phone input extension cables, as both jacks are on the back of the unit. Oh. . . and mine isn't green. Totally not a deal breaker.

Nice!

Meilan O. August 14, 2021

This arrived quickly, and has one of the highest quality face plates for audio equipment I have yet seen. I daresay this will last a very long time. Sound quality is good and the whole thing is easy to set up and easy to use. As an intermediary tool between my computer and speaker / sound system, this suits my purpose. It's also well-seated for podcasting and is versatile for use in multitudinous other functionalities. I have ordered a transmitter set I plan to combine with this unit to boost the transmitted signal to ppickups across the room. After testing functionality, I feel confident this will work perfectly for my intended use. Seems to me to be a good value, and it's a good fit for me.

Great audio gear for budget minded artists

Arlene F. March 8, 2024

My experience with Pyle has been consistently good, and this was no exception. Form, fit and finish on this is great. All the potentiometers feel firm and has a nice torque feel. Each of the knobs look great. The added dedicated phone or tablet input is a welcomed added feature. Instructions are clear and easy to read.

FANTASTIC

John P. January 15, 2020

Wow so this has got to be the best Pyle product I've laid hands on so far. I ordered it yesterday, got it today, plugged it in and started tracking right away. It's a no-brainer pro-audio interface. +LOTS OF GAIN! I used a high output, transformer circuit, RK47 capsule microphone-parts. com modded mic, and I had to use the pad button on the Pyle to keep it from clipping in my DAW. I had LOTS of headroom on the mic level input.

Nice USB Audio Interface for Podcasts

Alan S. June 11, 2022

This is a nice and relatively inexpensive USB audio interface that is great for podcasting. It can also be used as an audio interface for an acoustic act (singer and guitarist). I like the phone I/O interface for live stream applications. Note that an external power supply is needed but not included. If connecting to a computer, that connection will supply the power. If using in standalone mode, you will need a power adapter (such as a phone charger) with USB-C connection. All in all, this is a great entry level USB interface.

Decent little USB audio interface

Joseph G. March 7, 2021

I needed an interface for my wife who has taken to doing real estate podcasts, and this allowed me to get her set up nicely. Setup was fairly easy, although Windows required a driver to be downloaded, and wasn't the easiest to figure out. but the hardware itself works great, audio quality is excellent. Well made.

Broken driver and useless customer support.

TRINA R. October 29, 2024

While macs don't require special drivers for audio interfaces, windows computers require a special ASIO driver from the manufacturer to allow low-latency communication within a DAW. Pyle has a driver on their site, but the download link does not work. I have been on support chats and emails with them for the past week, and they just bounce between denying the existence of the driver and telling me they'll reach out when they find it. For $80 I would expect a product that actually works and a support team that helps if it doesn't. This kind of service is a joke. In addition, they promised a free dynamic mic after registering, but they never followed up or sent it. I would not buy from Pyle audio under any circumstances.
