I knew I wanted this and the price was great!
I had determined that this power supply would meet my need to run two radios simultaneously so I was searching the internet for the best price when Price Blink flagged the price at Walmart online. I had no idea Walmart even carried this type of electronics. I ordered it for store pickup and in a few days it was there with no shipping charges. It was exactly what I expected at the best price.

Works great
I tried the smaller 5 amp version but it overheated usiing only 3 amps. I didn't figure it out until 31 days after orders which is past the return policy so I have 2 regulators. This unit handles 3 amps with no problems. I do not know how much it can handle but it works great for my needs.

Good price even better device
Whereas I've only used it a few times this AC-DC power supply seems like a relatively quality device. However, it needs to be calibrated (adjusted) because out of the box it read +14v. I found a How-To on YouTube to adjust it down to 13v but one can calibrate it lower our higher depending on needs. I did trip the automatic thermal overload (ATO) a couple of times because the device has a limited duty-cycle (read the instructions for a change) but still I was not loading it higher than it is rated so the ATO is overly protective. Recommend this Power Supply
Excellent design, functionally and in appearance. I got this mainly for the higher 10A rating than other power supplies rated at only 3A or so. The device is quite heavy.

Less than described
My PYRAMID regulated power supply, PS15KX is far less than described. It will not even power up a simple 12 volt automobile sealed beam. A flashlight bulb it does but not anything larger. I have tried several unsuccessful times to contact the company on 63rd St in New York but they will not respond. And they do not list a voice phone, only a FAX number. I have already since, purchased another manufacturer's regulated power supply and will most likely toss this one in the scrap metal pile for recycling. NO, I would not recommend this PRYMID Regulated Power Supply PS15KX even to my dog.

Won't operate a rotating beacon
I wanted to run a light off a fire truck. The light draws 8.4 amps. This unit will not run it.
