Pyrex has been available for decades and it still is one of the best. I don't have to worry about plastics or toxins with pyrex. I also like the fact I can see what I'm storing since it's glass. I will continue to buy more when it goes on sale because the quality has stayed the same, but the price has gone up. I think it's the healthiest way to store your food in the refrigerator or freezer. These bowls are a perfect size for a single person. The lids fit snugly and keep the contents from spoiling as fast as they would with plastic wrap or tinfoil. I purchased several sizes so that I can freeze individual portions as well as larger portions for potlucks.
Trying to go over to glass containers due to PFAs in plastic. Like this size for small amts of leftovers
I bought this specifically for cooking my oatmeal in the microwave. Which of course works perfectly. However, I have found it so useful for other things, I wish I had bought two of them especially since I found it on sale. Definitely recommend this
I love my new glass storage bowls. They are perfect for the perfect storage of foods. I chose to go with glass, because my plastic storage containers hold food odors and stains the bowls.
Good price, Fast delivery,. Storing food in glass is healthier than storing it in plastic. The only negative is the plastic lids will eventually crack after a few years of use. However, you can buy replacement lids.
Every house needs at least a few of these. We use them for food storage; water bowls for the dogs and cats; as well as storage for soaking ingredients before use. Quite versatile without storage material leakage into the food and if they get knocked around, they're usually still safe and sound. Thank goodness.
Perfectly sized for storage of open canned goods
the lids crack soon after buying
I specified a plastic bowl duited for a microwave
