Pyrex Deep 9" x 13" Bakeware Dish with Sage Lid

Where has this nice deep 13x9 been all my life! I never tried to update being I have a 9x13, but the casserole I made would have been overflowing in my regular 9x13 (which is only 1.5 inches tall). This is a 3" deep pan and even has a cover so it can travel and save me money on aluminum foil. I love it!!!

The Pyrex Deep 9 x 13 Bakeware Dish with Sage Lid is thick and deeper than the usual Pyrex glass pan. I definitely measured to make sure the dimensions were correct. Machine washable, the thickness of the pan keeps the good hot for a longer period of time and you can make a 7 to 8 layered lasagna and that always depending on how much meats you use which I love sausage,pepperoni,riccotta,meat sauce,mozzarella. The pan was easy to clean and whatever got baked on still came off easily. The lid is the usual thick plastic and the edges were the thickness of the edge of the pan so it didn't let food seep out. I don't recommend putting on the lid with a hot pan since it will stretch it a bit and perhaps something could seep out. You could even put it into the freezer to keep the lasagna fresh and the pan held up nicely but I put aluminium instead of lid just in case it warps the plastic. Great addition to my Pyrex storage accessories.

I am a spark reviewer, and had the pleasure of receiving a Pyrex Deep 9 x 13 Bakeware Dish with Sage Lid. There are so many ways to use this dish. I chose to bake a dish of chicken wings instead of placing the wings on the grill. I was a bit apprehensive that the depth of the dish might interfere with the heat distribution. However, it did not! The chicken cooked very well and browned well. I love the beautiful lid that comes with this dish. Also, this dish is versatile. Other dishes I will try are salads, macaroni and cheese and as a storage dish in the refrigerator. Cleaning this dish was easy! I look forward to using this durable dish.

I love the large size of this and the depth is a bonus. I used it for lasagna, and it did not disappoint. Enough room for the noodles to expand without spilling over the sides. Easy cleanup (I used cooking spray to coat prior) with traditional dish soap. I thought it was too big for the dishwasher even though it is dishwasher safe. Easy to store leftovers with the tight fitting lid.

Pan is deep and came with lid. However, the long sides of the pan bow inward. This means the lid doesn't fit properly, not snug or airtight. There's almost a full half inch gap on either side.

I got this product new and the lid is all filthy and stained. I can't believe they picked this one out to give me for my grocery order pick up. The pictures make it look cleaner than what it actually is even.

I have used pyrex for years with no issues. I ordered this one because I needed a 9x13 size pan and love it came with a lid. I was cooking a chicken in this and heard an explosion coming from the oven. It literally shattered in the oven. So no I will not recommend this.

I preheated the oven and it exploded. Not safe glass is everywhere. I followed the instructions of not having it under a broiler, and I kept the temp at 350

I see how this is either a common issue or we have been purchasing the same returned item. I wanted to love this. The price and size were exactly what I'm looking for. It's hard to get on camera, but you can see there is stuff inside of the glass. I don't even want to guess what but no way I want this in my kitchen, much less cook with it.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas but fell in love with the handles so I decided to keep it! I just made a lasagna and had it sitting on counter so it was room temperature. I heated oven to 375 and put it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes it was not hot enough so I just left it in oven shut off oven and we ate it warm. I left the lasagna in the oven with door ajar to cool off . After 45 minutes we kept hearing like bottles crackling it was the glass shattering on my first time using this pan! I am so thankful this didn't happen to me while carrying a hot item to the dinner table!! This has really shaken my faith in the cheaper Pyrex! I will be returning the other ones I just bought!
