I just put my plant into the planter and hung it up. looks really nice! I don't know how taking the tray off the bottom will go in the future but I don't plan to take it off.

I was gifted two beautiful Boston ferns. I got them settled in their new pots and hanged them on hooks on my patio. We had a light breeze during the night and the next morning I was greeted with a mess. One of the pots' macrame holders came unraveled, it crashed to the ground and my plant was damaged.

They looked great once I put my ferns in them and hung them outside. One by one, I came home from work and they untwisted at the hook/hanging part and my ferns hit the ground. I tried my own DIY with one of them, but not sure what to do with the other two. They might be better used inside without any wind/elements.
