Exactly as advertised - great sound - am, fm & 2 sw channels
My Husband wanted this for the patio when he sits outside, He has found it is great inside too and instead of TV he will turn it on and listen. He is very pleased with the sound and quality. The price was great, saw in a store today something similar for $80.00. Glad I shopped Walmart!
Just a simple radio needed ..perfect for the price!
Not bad for the price. While I can't seem in my area to get anything on the SW1 or SW2 Band , the FM and AM reception is excellent , picking up signals from 100 miles away. The radio is nothing fancy but it works well. The only drawback was I needed to replace the power cord as whatever cheap plastic the insulation was made with smelled like curing resin. So I picked up a 7.00 replacement. Also i was looking for a radio with a Bluetooth transmitter in it when i searched and Walmart's screwy system listed this when it its not even a feature.
great little radio for my cubical at work, not fancy but very nice, good quality, great price.
This was on time and worked as described. Works well in a small room. I bought it for the bathroom. Signal is fine and performs to expectations.
Difficult to find in any electronic retail store or elsewhere for my sister whose capacity only enables simplicity-on/off, dial for stations tuning, volume dial up/down and AM/FM slider.
Just cheap and easy to break , the antenna broke the second day and very hard to find stations .
Walmart sells many good products at low prices. This is not one of them. The plug has skinny prongs that do not hold in a receptacle. I've had this experience before. What you do is bend the prong a little so that it will grab hold in the receptacle. On the first try, it did not help. So, just a little bend again -- and the prong snapped off! What kind of metal is that? Well, since I broke it (even though any decent metal would not snap off with just a small bend), I thought I would perhaps just use it with batteries. When I looked inside the battery case, the battery connection was broken off. Either it came that way or someone broke it (likely cheap product again) and the person then returned it without informing the associate. It was time to spend more money. I bought a Sony ICF-38 at Sears. It's available several places on line, but I live close to Sears. I will still be a Welmart customer -- but avoid this one.
it's difficult to lock on a a.m station, and I can turn the sound wild open and i can hardly hear any sound.the sound on f.m is ok, but ddifficuld to lock on a station.
