QoR Modern Watercolors - Set of 24, Assorted Colors, 5 ml Tubes

I am returning to watercolor after a very long time with other media. I was curious about QoR watercolors and have purchased 2 other sets (I love the natural set). These paints are luscious and strongly pigmented. They flow on the paper and rewet easily. The 3 combined sets form a pretty comprehensive palette as I dive in. I love how the sets do not give you duplicates. I can try colors and if I like them, replenish with regular tubes. I am already eyeing some new colors, A bonus is the very thoughtfully designed boxes which are white on the inside - both bottom and lid - and the lids have various sizes of indentations for mixing wash. They are also steel that affix to the magnets on my sketch easel. I have already reassigned one of the boxes to my gouache kit. A silly aside: the cardboard insert that holds the paint tubes works great for a brush rest

I love Qor paint. It is highly pigmented and a very little bit goes a long way. I have never used a watercolor brand that I like better. Some years ago, the Golden acrylics paints had a change in the caps. The old ones were like the caps on the Qor paints. They had ridges around the caps making it painful and hard to remove. My point being that if there is anything I dislike about the tubes of paint are the caps. Yes you could place a cloth over the cap to turn it but that isn't the point. I still buy the paints because Golden/Qor has the best customer service and the paints are of the highest quality. All of my Qor reviews will be exactly the same as this one.

I love Qor watercolor paints the hookers green is a beautiful dark green, much darker than other brands I've tried! I also liked ordering from Jerry's Artarama! My order came very quickly!

This is my first set of professional watercolors and they feel so clean and light while have superb vibrancy and colors. mixing is super clean because most of the set is single color hues I'm extremely pleased with my choice of this set for me first colorfast set of watercolors. i love them. I'm painting much more and better than ever.

Noticed the difference in using these watercolors immediately, smooth, creamy and vivid colors. Makes you want them all.

Arrived well packaged amd in a timely manner. They have yet to be opened as I have some 1/4 pan samples to finish up first.

These are beautiful ( a word I seldom use) transparent colors and a were chosen after a lot of consideration by Ali.

I use this color quite a bit throughout my painting. It goes from really light to really dark. Very versatile.

QoR watercolor is the only brand I use- due to its brightness, depth, a unique binder aquazol, resistance to the elements.

This is a great way to try out a variety of watercolor colors. I have used mine and love the rich tones.
