Bought these to sit outside for the bees and whatever bird that chooses to use it. Bought two so I can put a fresh one out as I bring the other in to clean and put fresh water in. It's just a little smaller than I would have liked but should work okay. Once the birds figure out how to use it, it will be better for them since it can be sanitized easily enough. Critters need water too. P.S. butterflies will use it.
