Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Chewy & Dipps Variety Pack, 58 Count

This review is for Quaker Chewy/Dipps Variety Pack. These granola bars are addictive! They have the tasty flavors of chocolate and peanut butter. They are a perfect small size which keeps the calorie count low. My favorite flavor, Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, has just 100 calories. The same flavor in a chocolate covered 'Dipp' has an additional 50 calories—still a good calorie bargain for a quick snack. The bars come individually wrapped which keeps them moist and chewy and makes them great for taking on the go or packing in a lunch box. I wouldn't call these a 'health food', but with whole grains, no trans fats and no high-fructose corn syrup, they are a good-for-you treat to pack for a quick bite during a long day. The variety pack comes with 5 different flavors of granola bars.

Arrived quickly. I should point out that they are not organized in the box. That would of been a nice feature to have the box designed around organization so you could of just opened the box and put it up on your pantry shelf and then the kids could of reached in and grabbed the one they wanted but these are just put in the box all together mixed. You have to dig around to find the one you want... With that said... She loves the dipped kind. They have a layer of chocolate on the outside... My 12 year old said she likes the s'more flavor but the smell is a bit of a turn off... Other then that she loves all the flavors... The dips went first though... This big of a box in the pantry is nice to have for after school snacks while they wait for dinner to get done cooking... Or to have as a snack packed in a lunch or snack time at school... A nice grab and go to have on hand!

I really loved these Chewy/Dipps granola bars! They are soft and chewy, some just granola and other things like chips or marshmellows, etc or dipped and covered completely in chocolate. Just the right size too, a few bites and you're done but enough to hold you over till supper. This variety pack came 58 bars to the box, which is great! They are each individually wrapped and ready to go at a moments' notice! Great for busy moms or anyone on the go! And sooo many different flavors! There are also two flavors that are covered in chocolate, and what's great is it doesn't melt and get all over your hands while you're eating it. Who wants to mess with melted chocolate? I've held it with the wrapper and also in my bare hands and haven't had it melt during the leisurely time I took to consume the bar. My favorites are the dipped bars, of course :) I keep a couple bars in my purse for a quick snack on the road! Keeps my attention crisp when I need it so I don't have to be bothered with feeling hungry! I can just open and gobble up one of these bars and go on to what I need to get done! It's the right size, as far as I'm concerned because when you're in a hurry you don't want to stand there chewing forever, you want to get it "into your belly" quickly. And this fits that bill right away! Although these bars are soft and chewy, they aren't "soggy" when in your mouth. Some bars are just too flimsy and don't give you that "full" feeling once you've eaten it. These give you that happily semi full feeling and will easily hold you over between meals or when hiking or playing tennis or whatever activity you enjoy doing. It might be great to gobble up right before exams too or when spending the evening studying! I would recommend these for everyone, although maybe not for toddlers as I don't think they have enough teeth yet to make sure to give a really good chew to this type of snack bar. But it's made by Quaker and you KNOW that's a good thing :) I really like these and will probably buy them again. I love the large amount you get for the price point and the huge assortment of flavors and types too!

My family cannot go without this Quaker Chewy Dips Variety Pack. This variety pack came with a whopping 58 breakfast bars. The flavor of the bars included were 12 chocolate chip, 12 peanut butter chocolate chip, 10 s'mores flavored Chewy granola bars, 12 Dipped chocolate chip, and 12 Dipped peanut butter chocolate chip. The dipped bars are my family's favorites but these breakfast bars will no doubt go fast in my house. They are easy to pull out for a quick breakfast and simple to place in my children's backpack for snack. Overall, the Quaker Chewy Dips Variety Pack, 58 Count is a must have in any growing household.

THESE QUAKER CHEWY GRANOLA BARS AND DIPPS WERE VERY VERY GOOD...THEY WENT FAST IN MY HOUSEHOLD...THERE IS SIX OF US AND THEY WENT TO SCHOOL AND WORK AND HOME FROM SCHOOL...THEY ARE SMALL BUT ALL THE FLAVORS WERE AWESOME...PERFECT TO CARRY IN MY PURSE AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE AND ON LONG TRIPS...LOVE THESE BARS...THANK YOU QUAKER

Generally speaking I'm not a big fan of granola bars. Most I have tried have been hard, difficult to chew, and DRY! So when presented with a chance to try them free simply for writing a review and sharing my honest opinion of them, I decided to give them a chance. Glad I did! These are softer, and moister than any granola bar I've ever had. They come in 3 super tasty flavors. 12 chocolate bars, (Who doesn't like chocolate?), 12 peanut butter bars , and 10 “Smores”! This package of 58 bars includes all 3 flavors PLUS chocolate covered versions of the first 2 flavors. Great for a quick breakfast when you are running late. A mid afternoon snack when you need energy. Or a treat any time you are on the go and get hungry! Since they are made with whole grains and have NO high fructose corn syrup with only 100 calories for the ones not chocolate covered, how can you say no? I can't! I received a box of these granola bars free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion and review. I give them 5 stars and recommend. Them to anyone needing a quick and esy solution to snacks or small meals.

I received my Chewy/Dipps Variety Pack, 58 Ct and opened them right away! These are the best granola bars. They combine nutrition plus that sweet snack that I crave! I always know any Quaker product is quality stuff too! With only 8 grams of whole grain and have no high-fructose corn syrup, that makes these bars good for your and guilt free. This new Chewy and Dipps variety pack includes 12 chocolate chip, 12 peanut butter chocolate chip, and 10 s'mores flavor Chewy granola bars, plus 12 chocolate chip and 12 peanut butter flavor Chewy Dipps chocolate covered granola bars. The bars are individually wrapped for you to enjoy at home, at school, or on the go. I love them for picnics and fishing trips too! They are a great pick me up during the day when tele-meetings go on for a long time.  Recommend these especially for folks with kids who need a healthy snack.

The Quaker Variety Pack provides a good selection of granola bar flavors -- 10 s'mores, and 12 each of chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate chip, chocolatey covered chocolate chip, and chocolatey covered peanut butter flavored granola bars, respectively. Because each bar is so small -- about an ounce -- there is not enough food there to provide a strong taste, except to a limited extent the bars with peanut butter flavor. Consequently, although the bars are basically good-tasting, they are not particularly distinguishable from one another and do not produce much of a taste sensation. The bars also do not have much nutritional value, although neither do they provide significant nutritional concerns.

I personally wasn't real thrilled with these granola bars. They are too sweet for me. Kids would love them I'm sure. The chocolate covered ones were more tolerable than the others to me but still way too sweet. I try to eat healthy most of the time but thought these are small enough that when I wanted a treat or just a little something sweet it would be plenty, but even just one bite was too much for me.

I just received a recall on these Quaker granola bars in late December due to possible salmonella in them. I purchased two large quantity boxes in September! Thankfully most of them had not been eaten and no one became ill. This isn't the fault of the store directly, but I am wondering why it took so long to be alerted. I have been offered a refund from the store.
