Quaker Muffin Mix Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, 900g/31.7 oz

These muffins are very quick and easy to make with only 3 ingredient needed. You can make 24 muffins with the entire package or use half the package as directed and make 12 muffins twice. All you need is the mix, 1 egg and water. I use coconut beverage or you can use a milk product as well. I always keep these for those days I am low on snacks or breakfast foods. You can substitute the one egg for half a ripe mashed banana as well of you like this option. There's lots of mini chocolate chips making the muffins very chocolatey but not too sugary, an ok amount of iron and the oatmeal is a better option than plain flour. Its about 15 minutes to bake depending on your oven. They are so easy to prepare that its a good product for children to learn to bake with. We love them.

It's really good just following the directions, but sometimes we add nuts, or mash in some over ripe banana or put in extra chocolate chips, or all 3. We buy it at least once a month and do a double batch and freeze half for breakfasts or snacks.

These are a huge hit with my kids and super easy to make. The packaging is not resealable so I put it in a container so it stays fresh and doesn't spill. The price keeps creeping up so becoming less cost effective for school snacks. Peanut free so great to bring for snack or lunch.

I don't mind it. It tastes good. Comes out a little denser than my homemade ones but the convenience outweighs that issue. Makes it easier to put together with my kids - less mess. Can add extra choco chips if you want.
