It's more like 2 minute cooking time, but still a quick, healthy and delicious breakfast before work. I personally put apple butter (2 full spoons for about 2 servings) after I take it out of the microwave. It tastes just like their apple and cinnamon instant oatmeal but healthier and cheaper.
The only brand in instant oats as far as I am concerned. I have tried many different brands but this is my favorite one for taste, texture and flavor. The best value for your money, you get what you pay for consistently high quality every single time, easy to make, never disappointed.
Been buying the little flavored varieties but decised to go with the more natural version. I tried the quick oats variety but was disappointed. This one solved the problem beautifully excellent texture and taste. The quick version isn't much quicker and ain't as good.
Best instant oatmeal I have ever cooked. This oatmeal will definitely keep you satisfied until your next meal. I eat this oatmeal for breakfast on its own; I also use it to bake cookies, make overnight oatmeal, and sometimes in my smoothie recipes. I find so many uses for it, and I always purchase the largest container.
I eat oats pretty much every day, but my favorite way to eat them barely qualifies as oatmeal: breakfast cookies. Mash one banana, mix in one cup of these oats, shape into little cookies, and bake at 350° for about 10 minutes. That's it. Two ingredients and suddenly eating cookies for breakfast feels like a responsible adult decision. Quaker Old Fashioned oats are always in my pantry and if anyone asks, yes, cookies are breakfast food.
Always a great buy for families who like grits for breakfast regularly. They come sealed and packaged extremely well so your grits arrive still in the grits containers rather than in the delivery box like some other sellers. I will definitely order again! 👌🏽
I make this every single morning in my instant pot. One cup of water, one cup of oats, five minutes pressure. Couldn't be easier and these are so good! I use a half cup of frozen blueberries to cool it off, add a little bit of sweetener and it's my favorite breakfast!
This idea definitely old fashioned. When it's been cooked it doesn't splash like the five minute version. The mouth feel is more defined.you can taste the individual pieces. The old adage” sticks to your ribs” applies to this. You will definitely feel full longer plus you get your fiber and protein.
Only 3 starts because there is a MAJOR QUALITY DIFFERENCE between the Quaker grits in bags over the grits in the containers! They are supposed to be the same, but they are not! Smaller amount in container over larger amount in bags. %231: QUAKERS GRITS SOLD IN CONTAINER ARE WHITER AND HAS A SMOOTHER CLEANER TASTE and cooks FASTER! %232: QUAKERS' GRITS SOLD IN BAGS TASTE MORE GRAINY AND ARE TAN IN COLOR and takes longer to cook!
The "Sale" price for this 42 oz item increased by $.12 this last week. Item still shows $.12/ounce (which math is correct), but now costs more for same advertised product. If it weren't on sale...this would be considered shrinkflation. Seems a little shady to sneak in price increases in the sale prices like this.
