I've been using Quaker State Oil since 1969 and the last number of years been using Quaker State ultimate synthetic in my 6.2 liter GMC and my 3.6 liter oil is superb if they made a 0 w-40 ultimate synthetic I would use it in my SRT 8 Jeep Grand Cherokee that's how much faith I have enough but I go with what the manufacturer it says and I use Pennzoil ultimate synthetic 0w 40 works just fine but don't let anybody tell you that Quaker State is garbagegarbage oh well because it is not and that's a fact jack
Bought my Kia Stinger back in August 2020. Had the oil changed at 1000kms then again at 6000km and now every 6000km after that. Currently at 30k. Car is a Twin Turbo V6 and gets only the best. Plan on keeping the car for years to come. Quaker State 5W30 Full Synthetic is going to help me with that.
On my 76 Sliverado 350, my Northstar Eldorado, 2 LS 5.3 Sierras , 2 Cadilac XT5 3.6 V6s and my 2.0 LTG Malibu. I have no oil related engine problems or either no adding oil between changes or reduction of normal oil pressure using QS oil. I use Full synthetic high mileage in my 05 Sierra and QS Ulitmate protection in my newest cars. I do not buy from brand hype I priorities oil chemistry and oil testing. Shell has done a great job with the development of the GTL oils and the additives used in there synthetic oils.
I use this at 10,000km intervals in my civic and it works great. I don't burn a drop and it stays golden yellow until about 8,000km. Could probably go 15,000 km between oil changes, but it works best for me to do 2 oil changes a year with QSUD
I've been using Quaker State full synthetic on my 2007 Mazda B3000 truck ever since brand new. Change at 5000km, done about 38 oil changes now exclusively with QS!! Keeps my engine in top condition.
I have used Pennzoil Platinum & while its a great product I have to say for the price point I see little difference in using QSUD. I like that it comes from SOPUS & it seems to preform awesome. I would recommend you give this brand a try. I know that Quaker State has been given a bad name but this isn't your Grandpa's Quaker State. I have to say that you could pay more for other motor oils but with Quaker State your getting a great value.
I have used Quaker State oils in my Cadillac and my Chevrolet exclusively, and could not be happier. Even though my Cadillac is in storage, she fires right up, every time. Purrs like a kitten too! My Chevrolet sees weather from 105 degree summer heat to frigid 33 below cold snaps, and that doesn't phase him. Thanks to Quaker State, I know my Silverado will start the first time, every time. He runs like a race car too! I send oil samples to Blackstone for wear analysis, and every one comes back passing with flying colors! Quaker State fan FOR LIFE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched from Mobil 1 to use QS's full synthetic on both of my Lexus vehicles. Read many motor oil reviews and found that all testing reviews placed Quaker State in the upper two or three rated oils with no significant difference from Amsoil and Royal Purple. Why pay more for comparable protection.
I started using this in my 2012 Dodge Journey. Great price and even better quality. I change it every 7,000 miles. Runs really smooth compared to Mobil 1, Valvoline and Amsoil. Only had to add half a quart throughout 7,000 miles. Quick start up in winter. I have found a keeper!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this oil ever since I purchased my 08 P71CrownVic with 130xxx miles. And if any body has owned a Mod Motor ford you know how crucial oil quality oil is. Not one problem have i had with the Oil even after i added a turbo setup to the car and my sometimes abusive right foot. Now at milage 185xxx the valves look great.
