This step can is super sleek and looks great with my interior design. It has 2 compartments inside that make it really easy to separate out trash and recycling. Also, a great size and perfect weight so it doesn't get pushed around easily, but is still easy to carry. Would highly recommend this step can!

This trash can is very well made and convenient! It has separate compartments for trash and recycling. Each compartment has a bin with a handle that can be lifted out for easy cleaning and emptying. The lid is operated by a step-pedal. It opens and closes slowly and softly, without making any noise. I like that the inside of the lid has a built in spot for odor absorbing packets to minimize the smell of the trash in the bin.

I really liked this trashcan, it has plenty of room for the trash and I love that it has a dual compartment that can ba used to deposit double the trash and if you don't want to use it for the trash, you can also use it to put your colored dirty clothes on one side and the white clothes on the other side. I also loved that you don't even have to touch the lid to open it, you just need to step on the bar that is at the bottom and the can will open on its own.

I love the dual purpose of this trash and recycling can! Both sides are big enough to hold a fair amount. The step on lid is a nice feature. As well as it's easy to wipe off. Which adds up being a mom with 3 small children. I would purchase another.

I've never had a dual compartment garbage can before and I love it. I can keep my garbage separate from my recyclables, which makes it quick and easy. When my grandkids are here, I don't have to worry about the lid just falling on their fingers. This has a slow closing lid, that closes gently to avoid injuries. When I am emptying the containers, the lock lid option is great to keep the lid up so I don't to fight with it. The oder filter is awesome to keep everything smelling fresh.The 16 gallon compartment container is an irreplaceable part of my home now and would highly recommend this to anyone.

I've had other side by side garbage cans similar to this but this is my favorite. A few things stand out, the bins have a wide opening. They slide in and out easily. The lid is quiet when it closes. Its design fits right in with my kitchen. The odor filter I am not sure about its effectiveness.

This is very sturdy, no worries about tipping over and step feature allows you the freedom of not having to touch the lid. It also has separate dual bins inside the larger can. Great for separating recycle from trash. And for the unpleasant odors a filter is attached so you can keep bad odors at a minimum.

Overall, this is a good quality made dual waste can. There is a spot for an odor refresher at top, each can has a handle for easy removing. The top is smooth opening and closing. The size of baskets are my only issue and that is persnal preference. I have a family of 5 and this is just not large enough for regular trash. It would be great for a family of 2 to 3. I am using it for recycling only, and allow to separate the materials for me which is perfect.

I replaced my recycling and trash cans with the dual compartment can. Initially I thought of it as a convenience and then realized I really don't need to have access to both simultaneously because either in throwing out trash or recycling. Now I'm policing my guest when they throw out trash to make sure they are placing things in the right compartment. But it is certainly more attractive than the two cans that were in my kitchen. So for me it is more about the look than the convenience

Well wanted to give this product a good try. I got it for free in an exchange to write a review. 1st of all getting it out of the box I saw how stocky it looked too wide. Next analysis was that life didn't hold open straight and it made it difficult to treasure out the cans inside to empty them out. What i like was the order absorber. The trash can want a best fit for us. It was to small it would not hold alot of trash. And we have a lot of recycle and that wasn't enough space either. I think this would work best for a single person or a couple not a family.
