They do the job. There are no metal clasps to close these envelopes, just basic gummed adhesive on the flap.

These are basic catalog envelopes. They can be used for mailing or crafting.

item merchandised as three colors, according to photo there should be grey, white, and manila envelopes. My shipment just arrived today -- needed the tri-color option for sorting/archiving project. To my dismay, I got a box of 100 manila envelopes. "Brown Kraft" sounds more like a brand name than a description that all are "brown/manila." Feel cheated/mislead -- am bed bound disabled, so return to store is impossible; and return by shipping, too much of a hassle/literal pain. Want the three colors the picture promised.

I bought this particular item based solely on the information contained in the Walmart website, and after almost a week of this package/order mishandling by Fed ex I received it and was not satisfied with the quality. On the Walmart description website, it states the following: Ideal for mailing documents that shouldn't be folded. This is false. These envelopes although good in size are prone to bending and coming apart at the ends. If you read the description, it clearly gives you the impression they are for photos, CD's, birth certificates type of parcel. Do not buy these as they are total garbage and even if you used them and were to send a large photo you would still need to use tape to make sure the seams do not open putting your photo or document at risk of being lost in transit. I could of gone to the post office real quick and grabbed 10 good envelopes and a heck of a lot stronger than these for FREE! I just wasted money and time with Fed ex delaying this garbage. Please do not buy!
