Only a 260' range, not 450' as advertised.
As stated above, the unit only has a 260' range, not the 450' as advertised. Seems to be of decent quality otherwise, but less than half the rating as advertised. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Reducing cost of a premium product loses customers
Quartet really cheapened the design but is still trying to get the same premium price. The picture is the old design. The barrel now a dull finish. The twist function to extend the pen is stiff. The buttons stick out so far that they activate in your bag draining the battery. The clip now has a sharp point. It is no longer a professional looking pen. Too bad. The pen is no longer worth buying at all.

Avoid
The description above from disappointed is spot on. Waste of money. My previous one was so much better and of higher quality. I would get complements. Now its junk. Picture shows new version on the right.
