I am 54 and of course have menopause dry and rough hair now. A friend actually recommended this to me. I slathered it on dry, unwashed hair and put a shower cap over it and left it for about 3 hours ( but you could sleep on it). Then just normally washed my hair. I think I will try to work this in 1x a week. It did make my hair softer, but I will need to try several times .
My scalp was very dry to the point where it felt tight and my hair felt dry so I bought this hair treatment remembering my mom who was a licensed cosmetologist in the 1950's had told me about this. So I washed my hair, towel dried it but still left it damp then I parted my hair and put the treatment on like I was coloring it. Then I put a plastic cap (Walmart has them) on my head and covered it with a bath towel. I left the treatment on for 30 minutes then washed it out and blow dried my hair. My scalp didn't feel tight anymore and my hair felt so soft and healthy. I will always use this treatment to keep my hair conditioned.
It makes my hair fluffy and manageable. My hair is usually full of static and dry/flyaway. This helps a lot especially in our Minnesota Winters. I use it as a quick conditioner after shampooing. My hair is on the short side.
My hairstylist used this product on my hair, which was showing signs of dryness. It made my hair shiny and in better condition, so I ordered a jar. Even if I leave the product on for just a few minutes, I notice an improvement in the condition of my hair.
I am 64 years old and I have used this since I have been a teenage girl… this formula only… You will see a difference after one use ! I saturate my hair with the product, put a plastic cap on … and heat it over with a blow dryer or you don't have to… some people don't care for the lingering scent , but it's not a bad scent… But this will get your hair straightened out quick…love this stuff !!
Works well to soften my dry hair
This is a great product. I have thick curly natural hair with some gray in the front. I washed my hair and applied this product in sections from roots to ends and twisted it. I had about 6-8 chunky twist and I put it under a plastic cap and then put an a microwaveable heating cap 30 minutes. I untwisted and rinsed thoroughly with warm to lukewarm water. Rinsing Roth cold water creates frizz. My hair was soft as butter. I use the LCO method; liquid in my case water in a spray bottle with a little rosemary essential oil then a Curl milk product (the cream) and then I apply oil only on my ends. My hair has a nice healthy bounce and sheen that is not oily. My hair is so soft and feels like butter. I canta purchase two jars and will definitely continue to use this product. ItsThe cream and then oh oil at the very end so I twisted my hair and applied oil at the very end and my hair has a nice healthy bounce and sheen to it and it feels soft like butter. I cantstop touching my hair. I purchasedtwo jars and will definitely continue to use this product. Its multi purpose. It could be used as a deep conditioner with a heat cap or a regular conditioner after shampoo. It also acts as a protein treatment so make certain to rinse well. I will be buying more. I hope you give it a try.
The best for curly hair especially tiny and tight curls helps it become manageable. I will continue to buy this product. 10 out of 10
