[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm obsessed with these. I was worried the texture would be really gritty, but these are light and fluffy. And the flavor is spot on! On top of that, they help me get the protein I need. These are the perfect way to replace the greasy potato chips I used to eat.
LOVE these chips!!! As I am on my own, unassisted, weight loss journey finding these chips, have helped curb the repetitious snacking desire. I am thankful for these chips, as well as other Quest delicacies (Hero bars, cookies, shakes, snack bars), that help satisfy cravings, keep me on track and on the way to completing my own "quest". I have 18 pounds to go and my favorite Quest snackies will help get me there.
I LOVE THESE CHIPS. MY FAVORITES ARE THE TACO AND SOUR CREAM. I EAT THEM FOR THE PROTEIN SINCE ON A PLANT BASE STYLE OF EATING NOW. GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT PRICE. THANK YOU.
Pretty much what you'd expect sour cream and onion chip flavor to taste like. There's a very slight after taste, not too bad tho and gets caught in the crown of your teeth a bit. Overall the taste/texture is very good, not super satiating however like you'd expect with other quest products.
Quest chips are a light snack that do not feel like diet food. But the protein ratio is very high and they are excellent for anyone on a high-protein low calorie or calorie-deficit diet. The tastes are better than average across the board. The sour cream and onion are a second tier for me, just below Nacho cheese and cheddar sour cream varieties. Also a big fan of the sweet chili flavor. And their frosted cookies and crackers are also great choices for someone watching their calorie intake or needing a little protein boost.
I ordered these for the first time with three different flavors: the bbq, ranch, and nacho cheese. These sour cream and onion chips were a bit disappointing in comparison because they didn't taste as fresh as the other flavors, and the texture was a bit hard. I'm a HUGE sour cream and onion chip lover, but sadly won't be buying these again. The other three flavors, on the other hand, are absolutely delicious!!
For a protein source, the chip is great. The texture is crunchy, like a generic Pringle. The flavor unfortunately is so strong and overwhelming that it's nauseating. Couldn't eat but half the bag. The flavor also lingers in your mouth no matter what you eat or drink afterwards.
in my opinion having that many grams of protein in a "potato chip" seems appealing until you taste it. I don't think it's worth the money I think I'm paying for the name brand more than the product. the sour cream flavor is what allowed me to finish the bag and for it being 1.1 Oz for almost $3 is Extreme in my opinion which I will never do again. sometimes you just have to experience things for the first time and never have to go through it again. yes 19 g of protein is a great amount but there are other alternatives if you're trying to get in your protein goals..ijs
Bag of chips ripped at the bottom and my chips hit the kitchen floor, so disgusted!
are you actually kidding me? this is bull...ya triggered children, had better adjectives but you can't handle reality so I'll baby you.. there were maybe 10 chips.. some broken in the entire pack..it wasn't a fluke either..all the packs were like that... what's on the paper towel is what was in the entire pack.. that's robbery!..that better? you're therapist ok with the words I used? pathetic and weak
