[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tool is a lifesaver, this tool has helped me on a few occasions where you are just working on a project alone and the pieces you are working on are a bit heavy so its hard to hold up, this tool holds the pieces straight and very secure, I highly recommend this tool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a tool I wish I had many years ago in my career. First of all it is heavy duty and seems very well built. I tested this unit hanging a few doors and yes! For years I have juggled a screw gun and adjusting a wonder-bar with one foot attempting to align doors. This has a lifting trigger and also a lowering trigger. The lowering trigger allows for small controlled adjustments. Finally there is a small release lever for quick tool removal. I will use this for cabinets next and I am quite confident it will do the trick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's tools like the Quick Lift construction jack that make me happy and relieved to be around during this day and age of tools. The simple novelty of a strong enough lift seems like it's something that should have been around forever. However, it hasn't and to say that this option came and just the right time is an understatement. Irwin really outdid themselves with the rigid construction characteristics of this Quick Lift tool. The base plate seems like it will never degrade as it is constructed of clearly high quality steel. The lifting capabilities alone are enough to warrant the price point. I've only had the opportunity to use the Quick Lift a handful of time thus far but I foresee using them for a variety of things in the near future. I'll also be investing in at least one more as I do believe that these are most suited as a pair.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My crew used this to lift sheet rock to a desired height for installation & also it was used on the flooring. In both occasions it outperformed any & all expectations. They were able to hold sheet rock up a 1/4” for installation & as the customer requested for this section of walls have the flooring underneath it. It jacked the flooring precisely & made a perfectly tight fit. They even jacked up the corner of my prefabricated shop to level it better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Irwin quick lift is the one of the best tools to have especially when you're alone and have to do a door/window install. I had the pleasure to put this tool to the test when have to place a new piece of sheet rock up that was fall apart due to a leak from the plumbing from behind a washer, i removed the trim and old drywall sheet and place the lift under to hold and let me tell you it was easy then doing it myself. What i really like it the fact that you have 6 hole where you can screw down the lift to any object to the fall or the wall to keep it from moving, I'll need to buy another great buy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really interesting cross between the now-common quick-trigger-grip clamps that can also be used as spreaders, and an old-fashioned farm jack. It's always tricky to use the quick-clamps in spreader mode to lift something of any size or weight because of the small footprint of their pads and the limited amount of torque that can be applied to the plastic handle, as well as the fact that the release handle releases entirely at once - this construction jack handily solves all three issues with the wide foot and easy adjustability, both up and down, and even adapts to uneven terrain with some play in the foot. At first I was confused since it wouldn't lock and just pumped up and back down under load, until I realized that the foot is designed to sit in tension so that the clamp 'grabs' the bar - this made it the perfect tool for single-handedly levelling a large shipping crate that I've upcycled into an outdoor cat shelter, that sits on a not-level-in-any-direction deck, so the cats keep knocking their bowls off of it and spilling their water and food. The Quick-Lift Jack was able to pick up the whole thing for a rough lengthwise level, then I could fine-tune (up AND down!) the stack of shims under each foot until the whole thing was level. Took a little getting used to - but in the span of one quick off-duty project it's earned a regular spot in my toolbox.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this from the first time i jeard about it. I usually work alone a lot of the time and sometimes need a second hand whether ot be holding or lifting. With this set at lifting 300lb it has many possible uses. With a couple of them you could set upper cabinets off of the lowers. Need to adjust appliance feet no problem, well maybe some of the bigger fridges might be over the weight limit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. I used it ti help hold up a garage door afrer the spring broke. It was very helpful and i only wished I had 2 of them. I can see this becoming more of a go to tool as i need to use it for helping finish a table with 3 legs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Irwin Quick-Lift Construction Jack is a great tool with some caveats. I tend to use a jack for mostly outdoor construction projects. Previously, I used an automotive jack, and the problem is those jacks are not designed to lower a structure all the way to the ground. This limitation required me to dig a hole into the ground, to lower the lifting surface enough to make-up for the height of the jack. The Irwin Construction Jack, however, has a very low height and allows the operator to wedge it underneath most spaces. I would prefer lift mechanism was on top of the jack, so it could be foot-actuated, but it may be underneath to discourage placing too much weight on the jack. I would also prefer to see the Irwin Construction Jack sold as a set of two jacks, because my outdoor projects often require more stability than only one jack can provide. I would also like to see an extension for the jack to use it as a spreader, because the base is too large to fit 2” nominal lumber. The design is quite good, and the product seems durable enough. However, packaging the construction jack as a single item with no accessories, may cause me to use the product for more strenuous tasks than it was intended for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the jack wish it had stabilizing legs on the back also, space fits in the truck box or beneath the truck box really good I've had it banging around in the back of my work truck for about a month no damage takes the abuse lifted a furnace to level it lifted a condenser to level one even lifted a 600 lb hot tub to get handles under it
