I dont like traditional floss because I do not like putting my hands in my mouth so I have always been using plastic flossers everyday, and it does make me guilty to waste that much plastic. I love how strong this product is, and it holds the floss really well. I know its pricy but imagine how much plastic you save in the long run, and you won't need to keep buying flossers.
This thing is absolute genius. I bought another one for my spouse, and one more as a back up, it's been 6 months and still going strong. Best purchase.
Difficultly cutting floss consistently, wastes floss. Color is too dark.
I really wanted to like this, and the concept is great - a portable, reusable flossing option that cuts down on the plastic waste of disposable flossers while maintaining their convenience. And maybe this works well if you have less tightly spaced teeth? Unfortunately, my teeth are very close together, and the floss just does not hold up. It pulls out, stretches, or tears apart, and has to be replaced almost every other tooth. Needs stronger floss nad a stronger grip to hold it in place
Poor concept. The floss is unable to stay stiff . After getting between two teeth it flaps.
If the overly giant holder even grips the floss well enough to have some tension, the quality of the floss itself is complete garbage. I wish I was exaggerating. I have no idea how this brand is still in business, especially considering the price of the refills.
this is a useless product. i purchased it thinking it will reduce the plastic waste from use and throw floss. the floss holder does not hold the tension you need to use it, plus the quip brand floss just breaks while using.
it just isn't strong enough at hold the floss. The floss sags after a couple of teeth. I tried the included garbage and a few different ones. I returned it and went back to using picks (even hough I hate the excess trash).
I love the concept. I have a Listerine Flosser that is similar and I love it, but has to use plastic heads and thought Quip was a good replacement. But no. The floss doesn't hold strong enough. As soon as you start flossing, it sags and either breaks off or shreds. Makes me sad. Did no one test this product??
This thing sucks! The floss is so thin and rips/tears/shreds apart in between tight teeth, particularly the molars. It also doesn't hold the floss that well. I love the idea of this product and cutting down on plastic waste but it needs a redesign and a completely new kind of floss or the ability to load your own into the dispenser. Back to disposable picks for now!
