I bought this for my son and he is actually excited about brushing. Partly because it is his favorite color, and partly because of the fun of brushing compared to a manual toothbrush. I bought it because I like the reduced waste compared to disposable electric toothbrushes for kids, and because I feel like there is a better chance that his teeth get cleaned with the vibration helping out.
So helpful to have the timer guide as they brush, colors make it fun to choose.
This toothbrush is super quiet compared with Sonicare toothbrushes, and much easier for a small child to use because of the petite handle. Walmart prices and delivery speed can't be beat.
Does the same great job as the kids quip we had before but my kid preferred the grip texture of the previous version.
Earlier this year I purchased an oscillating toothbrush for myself and a kids toothbrush for my daughter. At first, both were working great. However, the oscillating broke after about 6 months (going through the slow return process now) and now my daughter's stopped working. Also, replacing the head of the kids brush is difficult and frustrating. At this point I am very disappointed with the quality of quip and will be moving on to another brand.
I've owned two Quip toothbrushes, and both broke around the one-year mark. One still says it's fully charged but literally will not turn on. The other also says it's fully charged, but the vibration is so weak that it barely feels like it's doing anything. I've tried charging them overnight and doing the reset/troubleshooting steps, but nothing fixed either one. The most frustrating part is that I can't do much about it because I don't have the original receipts. So now I'm stuck with two toothbrushes that technically “charge” but don't actually work properly. Honestly, if you only want a toothbrush that lasts about a year, then sure, get a Quip. But if you expect it to last longer than that, I wouldn't waste the money.
This toothbrush hasn't been worth buying. The battery doesn't last the time between subscription shipments, it's difficult to remove from the holder, it doesn't seem to remove most of the tarter and plaque, and the toothbrush has suddenly started randomly turning on by itself.
Are we srs, gng? This glorified tube shaped tubular tube is more unstable than my dog around fireworks. And there was no battery inside. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Non functioning toothbrush unfortunately dissatisfied for a $20 kids tooth brush
The bristles barely move, the handle vibrates like crazy. What a joke.
