I have always been a Robert Taylor fan ever since I saw him in "Waterloo Bridge"(1940) and when I saw this movie I was on the edge of my seat...!!! Its well put together, beautiful, not over-the top love story, not otver the top on religion. 2 Thumbs UP..!!

Quo Vadis is a good movie but the DVD disc is defective. I did not notice it early sooner to qualify for return. When I played it before, it did not play at once. It gave a loud sound for a long time before it started showing a blurred picture. I thought it was just caused by some dirt on the disc. When I played it again I noticed that the defect was real because I wiped it well before playing. It made a loud humming sound for a long time without pictures. After several minutes the disc played but only after a lot of trying putting it in and out of the DVD player. You have to prepare a lot of patience if you want to see the movie. I rate it one star because it gave me a lot of frustrations to watch it.
