Qwirkle Flex Edition– Classic Qwirkle with a New Twist - Increased Strategy & Replayability Ages 8+ 2-4 Players

Our family has genuinely loved playing it! We're already fans of the original Qwirkle, but the Flex version adds a really fun strategic twist that keeps everyone on their toes.What I loved most is how quickly we were able to jump right in. The rules felt familiar enough to understand immediately, but the new flexible pieces added just enough strategy to make the game feel fresh. Even my kids picked it up within minutes, which made the experience easy and enjoyable from the start.

Qwirkle Flex is a great mix of strategy and luck that my family keeps asking to play. The Flex adds excitement and strategic depth with diagonal gameplay. We hadn't played Qwirkle, but it was easy to learn. It wasn't initially intuitive that Flex backgrounds were a third color (not either/or).The only suggestion we have is offering tile racks in plastic. Qwirkle Flex helps our son develop critical thinking, patience, and good sportsmanship and is a fun, screen-free half hour of family bonding!

This is a great game for all! I have never played the original Quirkle, but I really enjoyed Quirkle Flex. I have played with my 8-year-old twice so far. The rules were easy to learn. The play time was more like 45 minutes for us (the box estimates around 30 minutes), but it kept us both engaged the whole time. We haven't graduated to the split background tiles yet, but we are looking forward to adding them for even more fun. I can definitely see Quirkle Flex becoming a family favorite!

Qwirkle Flex has a simple premise to match colors, shapes, and backgrounds of to score points, but there's a lot of strategy involved. The first few games our family (parents and two teenagers) helped each other with scoring and best ways to play tiles. After getting the hang of things, play has been competitive to earn points and limit options for other players.The box says it is for ages 8+, younger kids may struggle with strategy & scoring. This is a fun game that moves at a good pace!

Our entire family, including adults, an eight year old, and an eleven year old, loved this game! The rules are quick to learn, and the new element of using the tiles' backgrounds as a scoring tool was fun and engaging. Our older child even said it was more fun and more of a brain workout than the original version of this game! We love the look and feel of the tiles' they feel substantial and are visually appealing. We all agreed that this game will be a staple at family game nights!

Our family plays a lot of games and can get very competitive! We like the original Qwirkle but it's not one we play frequently. Similarly, Qwirkle Flex is fun, but probably won't become one of our favorites. It's not THAT different from the original. The main difference is there are 3 backgrounds now. The diagonal scoring takes a bit of getting used to. My old brain has a harder time picking up new game rules, so maybe it's me. The tile holders that come with this game are very flimsy.

I was so excited to try Qwirkle Flex with my elementary-aged kids. We played the original Qwirkle recently so I thought that this elevated level of play would be fun. Unfortunately, they had a difficult time transitioning to this version. I think they were confused by the various backgrounds on the tiles. The directions and illustrations in the manual were clear, but they just could not get the hang of it. Currently it is suggested for ages 8 and up, but I think it should be ages 10 and up.
