R14-Victorian Foam Glue-up Ceiling Tile in White Heron (21.6 Sq.ft / Pack) - 8 Pieces

These tiles are amazing! I was really sceptical at first but gave it a shot and man am I glad I did. :-) The transformation was absolutely stunning. I have done this for a customer of mine, they were covering a popcorn ceiling and the could not believe how great it turned out. You see, the ceiling is the largest area of the room that does not get covered with furniture or art etc and so if you install these tiles, it is truly transformational.

Although I was expecting the styrofoam to be thicker, now that I have started painting them, I am so excited to put these tiles up! Painting will be a challenge too. I've experimented and found that applying a primer first (I'm using Minwax Polycrylic) is necessary due to soaking into the nooks and crannies. I'm spraying with a HVLP sprayer for the primer and then base coat. Then, I will hand paint my 2nd color and finish with glossy Minwax again. I'm doing a patina effect. It will be spectacular! We put one up and it looks just like an old tile.

Remarkably easy to do! best for use on a flat ceiling, we covered old tiles, bit more work to level them out, cause there was some unevenness... but the tiles still looked great when we put them up!

looks amazing and easy to install. I'm a 50 year old, female office manager with no contracting experience. I googled best practices and easily installed in one afternoon. (Room is 12 x 13 with a fan in the middle.)

So easy and fast! Looks beautiful! I've used your styrofoam tiles in two rooms now. One of the best remodeling decisions i have made.
