The coloring is solid, seems to be holding well after repeated use to this point. The size of the lure is as expected, it has good sharp hooks on it as well. The action in the water is very good and its holding up after multiple bites. Most importantly the satisfying sound you get to hear as it spins in the water, its perfect. Can't go wrong with a river2sea whopper plopper.

Best top water I've ever used to catch smallies ! I caught a 10 inch rock bass and some really nice small mouth every time I use the loon ! I don't go fishing without it !

This lure is little expensive, but does perform very well as a top-water lure.

The lure looks like its photo and is brightly painted. This is a gift for my son for Christmas. He will be pleased.

Works great! Easy and simple to use as long as you have the right rod and reel combo. Smallmouth crush it.

This lure can be fished like a popper with a stop n go retrieve, or with a straight retrieve, or use a retrieve of your own. Whichever retrieve you choose to use, it will still make a good bit a noise and water displacement to get those fish to notice your bait and STRIKE!

Works great and catches fish it's only down fall is that if it picks up and piece of litter it will cause the entire thing to spin on the retrieve and twist knots in your line and it's a real pain. Add a snap swivel to help with this problem.
