R36S open source handheld game console, large screen, large memory, large battery,purple,64G

It works as advertised you do have to tweak the settings to keep it from glitching on some games, but for the price it is great.

this is a great buy. It's very nostalgic. i do like that it has a secondary micro sd slot to expand your gaming library by 128 gb. it does have some lagging with the newer systems, but it's easy enough to tolerate. i bout one for myself and my brother. Now, I plan on getting one for my daughter. i do also like that there are cases and screen protectors that can be purchased separately.

This is a budget handheld of fair quality, while it is toy like in fit and finish, it offers a bright screen and 30k retro games, it's a great gift. It will emulate up to some N64 and PSP with tweaks. I highly recommend it as a starter devise to the work of gaming emulation. The D pad is ok for most shooters and the sticks good enough for Mario kart. Open source with lots of support to add your own ROMS and my only advise flash the card make a copy to a quality media card from SanDisk or similar. Also, if you are between the age of 30 and 60 you are going to love this thing

It was a Christmas present to my daughter. It worked Christmas morning and throughout the day as she played with it and as of Christmas night, it keeps showing on the screen “Voltage Level…”. We've charged it all night and it still won't work.

Delivery was two weeks after quoted delivery date. Also this is NOT an authentic R36s. It is a clone. However, the product does work as advertised.

Pretty cool gift for kids or adults. Sadly you get what you pay for. Lasted a little over a month and now it won't charge or turn on. My 7yr old really enjoyed this while it lasted

upon opening the screen fell out immediately was able to rig it back briefly.most games advertised where not available or didn't work. when some games did work it was only partially.then upon picking it up a few More times the screen again fell out but broke in a way that couldn't be rigged back.

I ordered this a month or so ago. I only just got around to openingthe box and firing it up. There's nothing on the SD card at all. No OS, no roms, no emulators. While the handheld feels decent, I cant give a review because theres nothing to test out. I was super unhappy as I was very much looking forward to playing it

Had it for only a week and it just would not turn on anymore. I opened up the back to check the battery then the back casing that held the battery broke off just from taking it off. Do not recommend at all just buy it off its website. They gave me a refund which was really great but the product is horrible plastic garbage.

These R36S consoles are not all created equal. Some are better than others. This one identified by number on the mainboard has an allwinner a33 chip and runs a custom software build that is different from community supported ARKOS. My kid cracked the screen after having it less than a week, I found a replacement screen installed it and found out new screen needs specific hardware information files. This console doesn't use those files so cannot get it to work. No tech support to reach out to for assistance. Do the research on R36S consoles and look for “trusted vendors”.
