R36S open source handheld game console, large screen, large memory, large battery,purple,64G

It works as advertised you do have to tweak the settings to keep it from glitching on some games, but for the price it is great.

Man, this emulator is AWESOME! I bought it as a gift for my brother-in-law, but I wanted to learn about it more as the directions are very limited. I did however learn a lot through Youtube videos about it and such. I couldn't put it down! My wife's mom was yelling at me to put it away, so she bought me one for myself, lol!

this is a great buy. It's very nostalgic. i do like that it has a secondary micro sd slot to expand your gaming library by 128 gb. it does have some lagging with the newer systems, but it's easy enough to tolerate. i bout one for myself and my brother. Now, I plan on getting one for my daughter. i do also like that there are cases and screen protectors that can be purchased separately.

It was a Christmas present to my daughter. It worked Christmas morning and throughout the day as she played with it and as of Christmas night, it keeps showing on the screen “Voltage Level…”. We've charged it all night and it still won't work.

Delivery was two weeks after quoted delivery date. Also this is NOT an authentic R36s. It is a clone. However, the product does work as advertised.

upon opening the screen fell out immediately was able to rig it back briefly.most games advertised where not available or didn't work. when some games did work it was only partially.then upon picking it up a few More times the screen again fell out but broke in a way that couldn't be rigged back.

I ordered this a month or so ago. I only just got around to openingthe box and firing it up. There's nothing on the SD card at all. No OS, no roms, no emulators. While the handheld feels decent, I cant give a review because theres nothing to test out. I was super unhappy as I was very much looking forward to playing it

Played for a couple minutes than game malfunctioned. Than wouldn't charge. Game went dead. Had hard time returning. Tried online but they directed me to go to store. Went to store and was told item was unreturnable. Associate gave me number to call. After several minutes talking with "ai" was able to talk to rep. Finally was refunded money.

These R36S consoles are not all created equal. Some are better than others. This one identified by number on the mainboard has an allwinner a33 chip and runs a custom software build that is different from community supported ARKOS. My kid cracked the screen after having it less than a week, I found a replacement screen installed it and found out new screen needs specific hardware information files. This console doesn't use those files so cannot get it to work. No tech support to reach out to for assistance. Do the research on R36S consoles and look for “trusted vendors”.

This R36S is NOT a real one, it is a cheap knock off by EmuElec. It uses a different operating system that isn't so "open source" and is a NIGHTMARE to update, its battery dies very quickly, and it's generally just a piece of junk. AVOID THIS CHEAP CLONE! Do some research and order one that is authentic instead of this garbage.
