My rabbits and guinea pigs love this hay. I have very little waste. They prefer the softer hay like this. Thank you Rabbit Hole Hay your the best
Excellent quality hay throughout the box and my extremely picky Guinea pigs love this stuff. Very little dust or brown hay and you get more quality hay for your money compared to other brands (and we've tried them all).
I purchased this because my guineas love timothy hay and it was a great price for 20lbs. They smelled it and were squealing when I put the box next to their cage.
My bunnies love this hay. I like it because there wasn't any dust or tiny hay shrapnel they couldn't eat.
My rabbit enjoys eating this product.
This is the second box that was marked medium timothy with leaves and thin stems but is stem free 100% timothy, I would call it the soft timothy. I am returning the second box but as to the first one, it is very green (plus brown) highly palatable with about 40% eaten. I obtained some high quality first cut horse hay (the only cut I could get this time of year) to balance the hay diet and they are happily eating some of each (from separate piles) but it is hard to manage the horse hay because there is a lot that goes uneaten. Horses love the clean leftovers except for the fines that go to compost.
Well, the rabbit 'ate it up' as soon as the Rabbit Hole Hay was put down for her. I must say however, the cost is high for the amount received.
RHH's quality has greatly went downhill over the years. Understandably weather plays a huge part in this but they also have refused to lower their prices to reflect such crap product. I've received multiple boxes that were super dry and overwhelmingly brown throughout, full of short grass instead of any timothy stalks. The only saving grace is WM accepting returns.
