Easy and Very Effective

Jessica June 24, 2026

This stuff is awesome. Very easy to apply. It does cling to the window for easy on and off. I put it in my new office as I have a giant window that faces west so I get baked in the afternoon. Today was the first day I didn't have to have a fan running non-stop to keep me cool. Will definitely buy more of this product.

Light in with privacy

Marissa January 15, 2025

The only thing I dislike is how hard it can be to get protective film off. Sometimes it can be hard to cut a straight line but if you measure grom both sides and then draw a line, you should be fine. I would cut bigger than smaller so you dont have thin gaps and then when you have excess on window, cut right along window edge.

Privacy, at last!

Anonymous April 7, 2026

Got this for my bedroom windows, I live in a ground floor condo, and my neighbor takes her dogs out to use the bathroom right in front of my bedroom window. Nice to be able to open my curtains to let light in, while now she can't see into my bedroom at all. The mirror effect is quite subtle, it's not actually noticeable unless you are standing right there looking at it, but it works! I can see out and nobody can see in. It does darken the room a bit, but the relief of privacy is absolutely worth it, and I'm sure it will help keep things cooler in summer, too. I needed to buy 2 rolls to cover my windows. I have 2 large windows, with 4 pains of glass, each 27"x27". It was easy to measure and cut, and apply to windows, but I did struggle with peeling the backs off immensely. I couldn't figure out the tape method, but all the pain and frustration was worth the anxiety relief I now have with my privacy and the issue with my neighbor. The land around our condos is technically a "common area" so it's not like I can yell "GET OFF MY LAWN!" This was much easier to just adapt to the situation with an easy solution rather than begin an argument/confrontation. Wish I had done this years ago! Absolutely recommend. I only gave 4 stars because it was so hard peeling the back off, even if that was my own problem. There wasn't clear instructions on how to do that, I later saw some youtube videos about the tape.

OMG June 30, 2026

This product doesn't come with the pretty little color in it that the picture shows. It's just plain clear. That was disappointing, but it'll do the job. I just wish I would've gotten what I ordered. I swear I ordered enough for my four lower bedroom windows. Yet I only had enough on the row for three of the lower windows. The box did not have the footage and my order is not showing the actual measurements I ordered. I know I should of had enough.

Ok but thick and needed to rewet and reapply

rbf403 May 5, 2026

While this does work the material is thick. I was not prepared as I normally use the mfg. static cling window film. I did notice the following day I had to re-wet my window and reapply the film as the corner was bubbled up. I bought two boxes and ended up returning one. Don't recommend this thick material.

Not for double pane windows

Amber August 10, 2025

This is probably a great product but many people won't be able to use it if they have newer, more efficient windows. This isn't to be used on double pane windows as the heat can cause your window to crack. Why isn't that in the beginning of the description? I bought two and can't use them now.

I want to return this product, not satisfied.

anonymous September 22, 2025

We open two of the smaller roles thinking it would work and cut them to size, but after doing one window we knew it would not work. It had wrinkles and bubbles and we did everything just as the directions said and nothing made it look good. The color had a blue tint which didn't look good and wasn't mentioned in the description. I want my money back.

unhappy with product

anonymous May 20, 2026

Impossible to get all the bubbles out. 1st application I used lots of water like the instructions said and a squeegee to try to smooth and remove bubbles. After lots of time and effort still too many bubbles. Then later it peeled off the window. I reapplied dry and it's staying on. but it looks terrible with too many bubbles.

shelley January 26, 2026

This item was supposed to be mirror and wasn't it was supposed to be one way see out only and you can clearly see in from outside so for the price of the half of window covering that came in because it only did half a window and cost $10 awful product I will not refer it to anyone
