Race Car Cake Decorations Set - Racing Theme Party Toppers

My 2 year old boy had pink balloons and the cats were pink for this cake topper no car for the top of the cake as picture showed.

There was nothing necessarily wrong with the decorations themselves, but rather with the order I received. I specifically ordered blue, as advertised, for a grown man attending a large racing event, but received pink instead. I laughed at first, but it really wasn't a joking kind of situation. So… Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't use half of the decor- I left out the pink balloons and pink race car. Thankfully, the tires and racing flags and black white balloons still made the cake a hit! A few things worth mentioning: First, the race car is simply a printed picture, not a plastic car, which may not be obvious from the listing. Second, there is no way to properly secure the tires to the cake using what is provided. I had to improvise by cutting up large wooden skewers and supergluing them into the holes behind the tires. Toothpicks were too thin to fit securely. Once the glue dried, I was finally able to position the tires effectively. I would strongly recommend that the company include appropriately sized sticks or supports for the tires. My biggest complaint, however, is receiving the wrong color. When someone orders a specific color for an event, that's what they should receive. If the company cannot fulfill the advertised color, they should notify the customer or offer a refund. I also question the decision to offer pink as a color option at all for a racing-themed cake. While anyone can enjoy cars and racing regardless of gender, pink isn't normally going to be the first choice or even the fourth for girls or boys into racing. In particular, many boys or men who prefer traditional racing colors may feel emasculated or embarrassed, depending on their age, to receive pink decorations. Especially when blue was specifically ordered based on the team's colors for example. Ultimately, the customer's color selection should be respected rather than substituted without notice. Regardless, the cake still turned out great! Even without the pink balloons and car, the tires and flags made a fantastic addition. With better quality control and proper supports for the tires, this could easily be a five-star product.

The car is not 3d and they sent pink instead of blue. So disappointed because it arrived late too so I didn't have time to purchase a new one from somewhere else.

Very upset this was nothing like the picture they sent pink balloons, cake toppers no blue Car. I will start ordering from Amazon again.
