I bought my original one in red about 10 yeers ago. I needed to get a new one. I was excited to order the same one again. When it came is was PERFECT! I know it will last for a long time.
I mainly bought this for the block with the built-in timer and knives. I love it because it fits in a rather small space and the color matches my kitchen perfectly.
Everything I ordered was fine, with the exception of my towel set; I asked for my initials to be put on them, and they weren't on the towels, and as I was cooking one day, the spatula broke! So those were my only two issues.
Love my Rachel Ray orange cookware! It looks beautiful in my kitchen with my Vintage Merry Mushroom collection! Makes time in the kitchen FUN and CHEERFUL!
It looks great in my small kitchen. The whole set just brightens the whole place, and I am so happy to have it. Also, it will help me to do more cooking. I'm excited to get started using all of it.
This set is just the color we were looking for and was probably most important in our decision. However, we expected pots/pans to be a little larger than they were. Also would have liked to see a lid in the set for the smaller frying pan. Came as shown, of course, with two larger lids (same size) and two smaller lids to fit the respective pot/pan/saucepans. The lids make a pretty good seal on the pans that they fit, but I would love to see a tighter fit. The cookware heats up faster on our electric range than our Kenmore set that we used pretty hard and became accustomed to. Just a new set to get used to. The cookie sheet does a really nice job--nice and thick. Not just a dinky cookie sheet. Rubber scrapers are nice. I really like the spatula/flipper. Neat shape and I like that it has a pointy corner and it is flexible, yet sturdy enough to cut down through medium soft foods. I would recommend a friend to try it out, but we will probably not be purchasing another Rachel Ray cookware set in the future.
With the pots and pans I was gifted, these utensils are ideal! The don't scratch them, they're easy to clean, and the match my other kitchenware. It even has a timer on it!
I bought these as a gift and they are great pans, wife loves them. Just make sure the package isn't damaged, ours was and several pieces were either bent or scratched.
I think the wood base is beautiful and the overall design is crafted well. I like the silicone spoons and spatula very much. The added timer was well placed and is a very nice feature. The only feature I would have appreciated more was better quality knives. The length of the knives requires that they be held almost completely on top of the blade and balance my hand on the small handle. It is difficult to make cutes because of the thin design of the blade along with the serrated edges. I will do my best to make this work though.
The utensils are very flimsy and very poor quality. Useless for cooking. The knives are flimsy and do not cut hardly. Useless!!!
